Free State Riding Club Free State Riding Club is a Open Horse Show Series located in Bowie, Maryland

Free State Riding Club horse shows were founded in 1960, and has been committed to the horse and rider community in Maryland ever since. FSRC seeks to promote good sportsmanship, horsemanship and the betterment of the equestrian sport through its annual spring, summer, and fall series of schooling shows. FSRC offers classes in multiple disciplines, including Western, English, Hunter & Speed. FSRC

caters to the novice rider and the green animal, and strives to maintain an atmosphere of fun while learning to show.

Unfortunately, mother nature has Delt us another raw deal. We are going to have to cancel tomorrow show due to standing water on the grounds and ring conditions that are not safe for riders and horses. We will see everybody on July 12 with Miss Millie Welsh as our judge.

If the Lord is willing and the ring isn't flooded, we are excited to see all of you at this weekends open schooling show...

Good morning one and all. After arriving at the arena this morning we are going to have to postpone the show for today. We will have a follow up date available soon. The ring is just to sloppy and we don’t want anyone ( horse or rider ) injured. Stay tuned for makeup info.

Good afternoon everyone. I hope this post finds you well and dry on this gloomy day. Mother Nature had to ruin our plans for the show today but we have the make up day scheduled! The make up day will be May 24th. So mark your calendars and continue preparing.
Our next show will go on as scheduled May 17th . We hope to see you there.
