A couple of weekends ago our family had the chance to go visit some out of town friends. It was a blast. They set up the air mattresses in the living room for our girls to camp out and the grown ups had some much needed time catching up on life.
Just being able to spend the weekend with them was so relaxing and such a testament to the type of friends they are...that you don't have to see each other everyday to be able to pick up exactly where you left off.
Well, hold on to your hankies folks......While we were there my amazing friend surprised us with the most meaningful gifts, — not store-bought, quick-click gifts, but thoughtful pieces that tell the story of our dream.
She found a potter on Etsy and commissioned a handcrafted coffee mug for me with our flower farm logo carefully made into it. A mug that somehow feels like all the early mornings, late nights, hard work, hope, and prayers wrapped up into one beautiful piece.
She had our logo etched onto a Yeti thermos for Cody— something so simple yet so deeply personal, like a reminder that this little dream of ours is becoming real enough to carry into everyday life.
And then she made matching t-shirts for our three girls with “Bloom Crew” across the front and our logo proudly on the back. Seeing our girls wear them melted me completely. Because this dream has never just been mine — it has been a family dream, one our girls are growing up right alongside us.
But what makes these gifts unforgettable is the heart behind them.
She has believed in this flower farm since the very beginning, back when it was just a tiny spark of an idea I nervously whispered out loud to her. She never dismissed it, never made it feel foolish or impossible. Instead, she breathed life into it with encouragement, excitement, prayers, and constant support.
There are people who simply watch your dreams from the sidelines, and then there are the rare ones who help you carry them before they even exist.
I will never stop being grateful for that kind of friendship. 🌸
And to all of our friends and family who continue to support this little flower farm in big and small ways — by thinking of us first when you need flowers, asking how things are going, sharing our posts, cheering us on, or simply believing in us — thank you. Every bit of encouragement matters more than you could possibly know, and we carry that support with us every single day.
Deeply grateful- Stepheni & Cody
