In March an amazing friend got to marry her soul mate. I was so excited to get to watch a beautiful marriage begin. But also so honored to be able to help with the day.

Allow me to introduce myself:

My name is Taylor Grimes owner/creator of Wed By Tay. I’m 23 years old. Own a home in Bourbonnais IL. Lived majority of my whole life in the Kankakee County. I do not have any children, though I do have 3 fur children.

Wedding and celebrations of two peoples love has always held a special place in my heart. When graduating highschool I had no clue the career path I wanted to do. I started with the basic education and tried from there. Ended up changing my major 4 times. Later graduating in May of 2021 with a major in business management and marketing with 4 other minors.

After graduation coordinating events became something that sparked an interest of mine. I did a few events here and there for family and friends but never anything serious. August of 2021 a co workers son was getting married their coordinator quit 2 months before the wedding. I jumped in to help with the day. After coordinating my first ever very large wedding, I knew this was something I wanted to turn into my career.

Here we are today coordinating events on weekends with the hopes of turning this spark into a future career. On this page I will share events I have done and all future events.

My biggest focus is day of coordination for weddings, I have done weddings in bridal showers. Though I would love to expand into other ideas like baby shower etc.

Along with coordination events I do offer decor rentals. My rentals mainly steam around weddings but many of the basic items can be used for any event. There is a separate folder to strictly see rental items only.

I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me, and I appreciate any and all recommendations, reviews, support from everyone! ❤️
