There was so much uncertainty around weddings after COVID, and honestly, I didn’t know what direction to take. My husband and I have never mooched off of other people’s success, and have been the type to look inward, not outward, when the world gets shaky.
After losing my job as an electrical engineer during the pandemic — and returning deposits for all the canceled weddings — I took a chance and became a travel agent. I’ve always loved exploring the world… and what better way to connect with people than helping them explore it too?

In May, I was honored to be invited by Palace Resorts (Moon Palace, LeBlanc, Baglioni) to celebrate my ranking as one of the Top 7 travel agents worldwide, earning Gold Status and just a hair away from Platinum.
The Pro Championship ceremony at LeBlanc Cabo — a stunning adults-only luxury property — made the journey feel so real. Hard work does pay off.
