Minnesota’s cannabis market is still being built — and that’s exactly why it’s worth watching.

Three years in, licensing is still moving, the rules changed again in 2026, and the structure of the market continues to evolve. At the same time, there are still real gaps around compliance support, rural access, delivery, and other pieces of infrastructure.

That combination creates both friction and opportunity.

For operators, service providers, and businesses looking at Minnesota, the question isn’t whether the market is finished. It’s how it continues to take shape — and where there may be room to build relationships early.

We pulled together a few of the signals we’re watching now, based on reporting from MN Cannabis Hub.

The Atlantic City floor is taking shape.

Swipe through to see the brands, operators, dispensaries, cultivators, and industry businesses already confirmed for our final NECANN show of 2026.

We’re especially excited to see so many New Jersey-based businesses represented on the floor. That local participation is what helps make the conversations at NECANN relevant to the market we’re in.

And we’re still adding to it.

Boston is back April 9–10, 2027.

As NECANN’s longest-running and largest show, Boston continues to bring together operators, exhibitors, service providers, advocates, and industry partners from across New England.

We also know there’s still some uncertainty in Massachusetts heading into the fall.

If Boston is part of your 2027 plan, you can reserve your space now with no down payment until November and risk-free cancellation in the meantime.

That gives you the ability to hold your place without taking on more risk while the market works through what comes next.

Planning ahead should give you more flexibility, not less.

More to come as the 2027 floor starts taking shape.

Every exhibitor wants ROI from a show. But ROI doesn’t look the same for every business.

Maybe you need qualified leads.

Maybe you’re entering a new market and need to understand the landscape.

Maybe the goal is strengthening relationships with customers you already have.

Or maybe you simply need the right people to know your name.

Before your team gets to the show, decide what a successful two days would actually look like.

That clarity helps you decide who to talk to, where to spend your time, and what to follow up on afterward.

A busy booth can feel good. A booth that moves your business forward is better.

Our final NECANN show of 2026 is coming up.

We’ll be in Atlantic City September 18–19, bringing together operators, exhibitors, service providers, advocates, and industry partners from across the New Jersey market.

For exhibitors, the last show of the year can be a useful chance to finish strong — reconnect with existing relationships, meet new people in the market, and get a clearer read on where opportunities are heading.

For attendees, it’s a chance to have those conversations in one place and spend time with the people actively working in the region.

If New Jersey is part of your business or your plans, Atlantic City is our last stop of 2026.

Massachusetts cannabis is at an important moment, and staying informed matters.

On September 11, NECANN is helping kick off the first VOTE NO ON 8: Keep It Legal event at The Summit Lounge in Worcester, bringing together industry professionals, budtenders, consumers, advocates, and community members for a practical conversation about the November election and what’s at stake for legal cannabis in Massachusetts.

Hosted by Talking Joints Memo and Canna G.E.M.S., the Worcester Burn & Learn is free to attend and will include education, community connection, food, raffles, and gift bags.

Most importantly, attendees will leave with clearer, actionable ways to help raise voter awareness and participation ahead of November.

September 11 | 6–9 PM
The Summit Lounge | Worcester, MA

Canna Coaches Rhiannon Binder, Bridgette Victoria Cruz, and Tomas Gonzalez will also be onsite sharing practical guidance for people who want to get involved.

This is the first in a series of free events planned across Massachusetts, and we hope the industry and the broader community will take part.

If this issue matters to you, please share the event with your network and join us in Worcester if you can.

RSVP: Keep It Legal Party: Worcester Burn & Learn

There are also a limited number of opportunities for businesses and brands to support the event, including gift bag donations. For details, contact [email protected].

More VOTE NO ON 8 event announcements are coming soon.
