Diaper covers! Or undie covers if your child is out of diapers.

Put these on wayyy longer than you may normally--especially if you booked a mini session.

Photography sessions move fast! Especially if you involve multiple young kids and pets. While I always love to primp and pose where undergarments aren't exposed, sometimes it's just not possible. And editing after doesn't always solve the problem.

So throw on some bloomers or little bike shorts under your daughter's skirt/dress even if you think the dress is long enough to cover up.

You never know when they might decide they want to flash the camera like C during this shoot 🙄🤣

No matter how you slice it, the message we remind our kids on the first day and everyday is the same. And it's a reminder to myself, too. When trying to be a good friend and finding good friends, the most important thing is being the type of friend you want to have.

We don't always get it right, but we try.

We needed a place to celebrate my parent's 50th and had very specific restrictions: we wanted a resort but didn't want to leave the country, we had only one specific week we could go, it had to be easy enough to get to from multiple cities and it had to entertain seven kids between 3 and 12. Sea Island hit all these points and more. A dream vacation, and a very special place. If you've been there, you know. 🤍 We'll have Georgia on our minds and in our memories.
