France vs. Morocco. Two of the biggest names in world soccer, a rivalry soaked in history, and a stage that doesn’t get any bigger than this. When these two meet, the whole world watches, and on Thursday, Boston watches together.

All summer long, we’ve turned the Lawn on D into a home for every flag, every anthem, every community that makes this city what it is. This is the one where we bring all of that energy into a single afternoon.

• This event is free and open to all, so entry is first come, first served.

• Your RSVP helps us plan, but it doesn’t guarantee you a spot.

• Once we reach capacity, we won’t be able to let anyone else in — no matter when you RSVP’d.

• Come early, bring your people, and give yourself the best chance to be part of it.

🇨🇻 Boston, we heard you. We’re running it back.

You told us you wanted more of these, more culture, more community, more family friendly gatherings, more reasons to come together around the beautiful game. So we just added one more, and this one is for Boston’s Cape Verdean community.

Cape Verde takes on Argentina in the Round of 32, and we’re bringing the whole city to the Lawn on D to cheer them on.

Live cultural performances, vendors, and music all afternoon, with Antonio Andrade and Dj getaway 🇨🇻🇺🇸 🌍 on the sound. Whether your roots run back to the islands, you bleed Argentine blue and white, or you just love good soccer, there’s a place for you in this crowd.

🇩🇪 vs 🇵🇾 Today’s the day. We’re watching Germany vs. Paraguay live at the Lawn on D, and this one’s win or go home. Round of 32, all eyes on the match.

We’re honored to have Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll Kim Driscoll and Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭 helping mark the occasion. Boston is showing up for this one.

Doors open at 1:30 and we’re rolling all afternoon before kickoff at 4:30. Come early, stay late, and feel the energy build.

Our community partner Black Economic Council of MA has a full lineup of activations waiting for you, from face painting to games to a Photo Booth.

We’ll also have food trucks including Matt West, Suya Joint, Tandoor And Curry On Wheels, Temperance | Neoplitian Pizza Food Truck and Cheese Louise 🧀 so come hungry.

Settle in with us and The Grove at Lawn on D and enjoy the beautiful game with the whole city.
