Happy international Coffee Day. This year's campaign is "Coffee, Your Daily Ritual, Our Shared Journey", which honours collaboration within the sector, promoting sustainable practices while supporting livelihoods among coffee farmers worldwide.

I honor the amazing Rob Fiedler who left us far too soon. He started Africana Trader and brought me to Rwanda to help visually tell the story of where our coffee comes from. He was a fearless advocate for improving the lives of the coffee farmers. An amazing friend, husband , and father.

Stop by this incredible event that Toni https://www.facebook.com/toni.troop has been working on for the past several months for the Boston Center for Independent Living which is a frontline civil rights organization led by people with disabilities that advocates to eliminate discrimination, isolation and segregation by providing advocacy, information and referral, peer support, skills training, PCA services, and transitional services in order to enhance the independence of people with disabilities. At the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston from 1-4 Sat Sept 21st. Food, entertainment and much more!

Excited to share all my photos from JVS’s 2023 annual report. This organization as their mission statement says (JVS’s mission is to empower individuals from diverse communities to find employment and build careers, while partnering with employers to hire, develop, and retain productive workforces.) has helped thousands of new immigrants find training and work. Always wonderful to work with them.

So excited to share my photography including the cover image from the 2023 fall issue of "Visit Arlington" put out by the Arlington, MA Chamber of Commerce. I was contacted by the incredible Heather Beasley Doyle, a writer colleague who I worked with in the past. And I shared the photography for the magazine with another past wonderful colleague Chris Walton, editor, writer and photographer. Within the magazine some of my photos are on pages 8,10,12,28,20, and 32. Arlington resident and social impact entrepreneur Ricardhy Grandoit, SHRM-SCP and his sons are featured on p. 49. I discovered my new favorite cafe The Roasted Granola and many other locations throughout Arlington Heights. The cover image is from The Old Schwamb Mill which is an historic 19th-century mill still very active.

Portraits Anyone?

PORTRAITS ANYONE? Want to offer an employee incentive? Or gift?

I am offering companies (and non-profits too!) the opportunity to hire me and an assistant to take professional headshots of all your staff on location at your office. I will bring the backdrops and lighting, you provide the location!

I did this recently at an organization in the downtown area. They hired me to do headshots of both the new ED and other senior management. Then it was opened up to their employees (around 150) and 60 signed up for time slots over the course of two days. They were amazed at how many people took them up on it, having an opportunity to have a professional headshot for themselves, their social media accounts in addition to having headshots available for organizational use.

My second time photographing at the Shaloh House. Like the Rabbi says lets focus on the goodness in the world. Wonderful to meet the Channel 5 team also working on this story yesterday. Reed​ and the awesome cameraman. Forgot his name and tried looking it up but nowhere on the Channel 5 site can you see a listing for their videographers. Anchors and reporters yes. Strange. Anyway it was a great piece put together in less then an hour!! Those people know deadlines.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft received a special gift made special for him by the campers and staff at Shaloh House in Brighton.

Had the chance to work once again photographing with the amazing writer Linda Matchan. A heartfelt story about Raizel Schusterman’s weekly chicken soup deliveries to Covid patients in her community on the North Shore of Boston. And we both brought home samples. Sooo delicious!
