Thank you to DJ Pup Dawg, longtime DJ of Boston’s JAM'N 94.5 , for bringing the sound to the inaugural Boston Harbor Bites. He joined us at Long Wharf on Sunday, July 12, as part of the festival’s Food Truck Series, adding the perfect soundtrack to a day of food, vendors, and community along the waterfront.

Boston Harbor Bites is officially a wrap, and my heart is so full.

Five days. Seven waterfront sites. Countless moments of Boston coming together to celebrate food, culture, and community.

Thank you to every vendor who showed up and shared your passion, every volunteer who gave your time, every sponsor and partner who believed in this vision, and every attendee who came out to support local businesses. Your energy is what made Boston Harbor Bites so special. A special thank you to the City of Boston’s Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion (Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion) for the opportunity to bring this festival to life, and to everyone behind the scenes whose hard work often goes unseen. It truly took a village.

This is what community-rooted work looks like, and I am beyond grateful to have built it alongside people who show up and do it right.

Melt in Your Mouth is at Boston Harbor Bites.

Melt in Your Mouth was founded by Silpa Pande, who came to the U.S. from a beach town in India to earn a Master’s in Computer Science, with zero baking experience. A homemade cake from a friend sparked her love of baking, and later, while navigating a dairy-free, soy-free diet, she saw firsthand how hard it was to find allergy-friendly desserts that still tasted great. That experience, paired with what she learned about artificial dyes and health, led her to leave a career in tech product marketing and launch a dessert brand built on clean, real ingredients. What started as a small booth at the Walpole Farmers Market has grown into farmers markets, custom orders, pop-ups, and events across the region.

With over 40 vendors placed along the waterfront, join us for five days of local food, artisan makers, and cultural entrepreneurs across five neighborhoods, from the Charlestown Navy Yard to the Seaport. Free and open to all, running July 11-15, 10 AM to 6 PM each day.

Boston Harbor Bites is a curated vendor experience bringing together the best of Boston’s local food scene, artisan makers, and cultural entrepreneurs across the city’s most iconic waterfront locations, from Charlestown Navy Yard to the Seaport to Marine Industrial Park.
