At WORTH on Martha’s Vineyard, color, texture, florals, food, and interactive touches carried the experience throughout the space. From layered floral arrangements and fresh citrus to a garnish bar where guests could add their own finishing touches, each element contributed to the setting.

WORTH was brought to life through a collective effort.

Presented by and powered by the McKinsey Institute for Economic Mobility, the gathering brought leaders across capital, healthcare, policy, and culture to Martha’s Vineyard for an afternoon centered on Black maternal health and economic mobility.

At the center of WORTH was a conversation about Black maternal health and capital.

Nuuma’s gathering on Martha’s Vineyard brought together conversations around fertility, nutrition, birth, postpartum care, doula access, employer benefits, investment, and policy.

For The Social Butterflies Events, producing WORTH meant creating the setting for those conversations to take place. We’re proud to be part of events that make space for people to come together, listen, connect, and share their perspectives.

Thank you to DJ Pup Dawg, longtime DJ of Boston’s JAM'N 94.5 , for bringing the sound to the inaugural Boston Harbor Bites. He joined us at Long Wharf on Sunday, July 12, as part of the festival’s Food Truck Series, adding the perfect soundtrack to a day of food, vendors, and community along the waterfront.

Shout out to Richie's Concessions, who vended at Marine Industrial Park during last month. Thank you for everything you brought to the festival.

Offering over 30 flavors of their famous slush, Richardson's Farms and Bliss Dairy ice cream, and homemade favorites like pastelitos, chicken tenders, and pearl hot dogs, Richie's Retail is celebrating 67 years on the Parkway serving their friends and family.
