Welcome to our Tropucal Dreams 2026 headliner highlights! We are so excited to introduce at length the artists blessing the decks this show. Starting off this year with Hypho!
Hypho is a British electronic music producer, DJ, and founder of Manuka Records, a forward-thinking label he launched in 2018. Originally from Carlisle, UK, Hypho has emerged as a key figure in the evolution of underground electronic music, blending deep dubstep, UK garage, breakbeat, and techno into a style that’s uniquely his own. His productions are defined by dark textures, percussive energy, and a commitment to pushing boundaries within bass-driven music.
With releases on iconic imprints such as Swamp81, Deep, Dark & Dangerous, Deadbeats, Infernal Sounds, SubCarbon, and The Glitch Mob’s All The People, Hypho has established himself as a sought-after artist in the global underground scene. His tracks have gained support from influential names like Skream, Jackmaster, Truth, Loefah, The Widdler, and Stanton Warriors, while his sound continues to evolve across dancefloors and sound systems worldwide.
Hypho’s dynamic DJ sets and extensive touring have taken him to major festivals and clubs across Europe, North America, and Asia, where he’s known for high-energy performances that cross genres and captivate crowds. In 2020, he was awarded Best Upcoming Producer and Best Unreleased Track at the Duploc Dubstep Awards, and was later named “One to Watch” by UKF in 2021. That same year, his single “Sufferin’” was featured in Mixmag’s Best Tracks of the Year, cementing his role as a leading voice in the underground scene.
Outside of his solo career, Hypho’s work with Manuka Records has been instrumental in spotlighting cutting-edge talent and cultivating a new wave of experimental artists. Featured in Red Bull, Mixmag, and Hyponik, Hypho continues to drive the culture forward—not only through his own releases but by fostering a community that values innovation, authenticity, and the raw power of low-end frequencies.
See you all soon dreamers
