Over the last three days, our team has been spread throughout Boston to manage the 50th annual NCSL Legislative Summit by National Conference of State Legislatures , the nation’s largest gathering of legislators and legislative staff. Thousands of attendees have gathered in Boston for networking events, social outings, keynote speakers, and more. But the party isn't over yet! Our team will continue to help showcase our great city to our guests tonight with food, drinks, and live entertainment.

Next week, we're assisting in the coordination of the 2025 Legislative Summit by National Conference of State Legislatures in Boston, the nation's premier gathering of legislators and staff. From August 4-6, attendees will engage in eye-opening policy sessions, and experience after-hours access to some of Boston's most iconic venues. Conventures has curated a lineup of events each evening, featuring celebrations on Canal Street, TD Garden, and the Charlestown Navy Yard, along with performances by the Boston Pops and surprise musical guests. This year's summit marks the grand finale of NCSL's 50th anniversary celebration, and has an outstanding lineup of guest speakers to mark the occasion.

From August 7-10, we’re partnering with the Detroit Wayne County Port Authority to bring Tall Ships back to the Motor City! Sail Detroit will celebrate the city's maritime history while welcoming four Tall Ships and thousands of residents and visitors. Attendees will be able to explore four historic Tall Ships, meet crew members, and set sail along the Detroit River aboard the 105-foot tall ship schooner, the Alliance. Our team will be on-site helping coordinate the many details needed for a smooth operation both on land and on the river.

This Wednesday, we gathered media and the public at Boston Harbor Hotel to mark one year until Sail Boston! The press conference featured Doug Meehan WCVB TV 5 and Antoinette Antonio from WCVB Channel 5 Boston as emcees, and Governor Maura Healey, Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭, and representatives from the Sail Boston Board of Directors, Meet Boston, U.S. Coast Guard Northeast, and U.S. Navy spoke about the upcoming event.

Next year as the rising tide lifts dozens of ships from around the world into our harbor, the excitement, and economic impact will rise as well.

One year from today, Sail Boston will be in full swing! Our beautiful city and harbor will welcome crew, cadets, and tall ships from around the world for a world-class maritime celebration! Our team is already hard at work to make Sail Boston the event of the summer, and we can't wait to see those sails flying high as the nation celebrates it's 250th birthday next July.

Tomorrow, we'll again produce the annual Boston Children’s Hospital's Corporate Cup at Harvard Athletics Complex! Fifty six corporate teams will compete to earn points (and bragging rights) for their company while fundraising for lifesaving research and care at Boston Children’s. As always, we're excited to execute on months of planning and can't wait to see all of the participants leave it all on the field! 💪

It was a week of big birthday celebrations for team Conventures, helping the US celebrate its 249th birthday from July 2 - 4 at Boston Harborfest, and the city of Quincy celebrate its 400th from July 4-6. The 43rd Boston Harborfest included programming and events for tens of thousands of guests at multiple venues across the City, and the Quincy 400 celebration was centered around a Maritime Festival at Marina Bay that united thousands of guests in three days of celebration.

From August 7-10, 2025, attendees will have the chance to view and board visiting Tall Ships, meet the crews, and even set sail on the Alliance, a 105-foot, three-masted schooner.
