We are more than a gift shop we are a giving store! All within Massachusetts General Hospital. A unique gift shop and full-service flower shop located within MGH in the West End Boston of Ma. Shop here and give back, All profits from the store sales become grants that the LVC gives to the MGH community for the comfort and well-being of patients, their families and the hospital community at large.

We do wedding and event flowers. Do you have a department event that you need gifts for, we're here for you! Need a personal shopper for that special gift give us a call. We also deliver flowers throughout Massachusetts, & all MGB locations. We ship packages throughout US and internationally. We sell a variety of companies with a great assortment; Thymes, Top it Off, Scout Handbags, E-Newton Jewelry, Bukowski Bears, gourmet food, cards & more.

Our Story

We are a unique Gift Shop located within Massachusetts General Hospital and operated by The LVC. Every single purchase made at The MGH General Store and Flower Shop goes directly into funds used by the LVC to give back to the hospital. We've been in business since 1942, and have had our online store since 2000. We have several stores within the MGH organization: The General Store, Outfitters,General Hair Care, The General Store at Yawkey, Images Oncology Boutique, The General Store at Spaulding Rehabilitation Center, and The General Store North Shore.

We offer a variety of items for patients at MGH, as well as for employees and visitors. We sell Flowers, Balloons, Gourmet Food, Toys, Candles, Gifts, Women's Clothing, Accessories, Logo Merchandise, Medical Scrubs, and Shoes.

Our team is made up of committed professionals who have worked at MGH for years, many of us with over 10 years at the shops. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and will do our best to meet your needs.
