How to Create a High-End Rehearsal Dinner Without the High-End Price Tag đź’™
One of our favorite parts of designing an event is proving that a beautiful table doesn’t necessarily require sourcing every piece from an expensive rental company.
For this rehearsal dinner, many of the details you see on the table were sourced locally from At Home, HomeSense, and HomeGoods. We mixed blue-and-white ginger jars, textured blue glassware, woven chargers, candles, and other pieces to create a collected look that felt intentional, elevated, and completely unique to the evening.
The florals were designed and created by The Perfect Plan, using flowers sourced through a wholesale florist. Keeping the arrangements simple—classic blue and white hydrangeas in glass vessels—allowed us to create abundance down the table without overcomplicating the design.
Our biggest tip? Don’t worry about finding everything in one place or having every piece match perfectly. Choose a color palette first, then slowly build around it. Mix different textures, heights, patterns, and price points. Some of the best event designs come together when they feel collected rather than purchased as a complete set.
Add plenty of candlelight, warm string lights, crisp linens, and one or two personalized details, and suddenly everyday finds can become a rehearsal dinner table that feels completely custom.
Beautiful event design is less about where you buy something and more about how you bring it all together. đź’™
