This weekend is the Blue Moon! To celebrate this rare occasion I gathered all the best blue blooms of the season - hydrangea, cornflower, anemones, veronica, tweedia, thistle, and purple kale just because I love it. What an auspicious day tomorrow is! Not only is it Beltane, the Gaelic festival marking the return of life and warmth, but it’s also the first night of the May Flower Moon in Scorpio! Beltane is all about celebrating optimism and growth, so coinciding with the Flower Moon seems pretty spot on. This one I always fill with my May favorites - peonies, lilacs, tulips, snapdragons, and tweedia - most of which have short seasons so I love having this way of exalt them all month long. (At least until the blue moon at the end of the month)
