Some places you visit. Some places raise you. Westerly will always be mine.

As a proud Westerly native and Rhode Islander, this has always been my special place, the kind you feel before you can explain. Salt air, long summer days, rich history, and a quiet you can’t manufacture.

Watch Hill, a small seaside village within Westerly, has always been the Northeast’s hidden gem, the little sister to Newport and the Hamptons. A sleepy beach town in all the best ways, even after a famous singing neighbor arrived.

I was married here, still come home every summer, and now my team and I are lucky enough to plan weddings here too, one of our most loved and familiar destinations, which still feels full circle every single time.

It was so fun chatting with about my love for this special corner of New England and the rumors and speculation around + ’s possible upcoming nuptials. While so much of our conversation didn’t make the final cut, it’s always a pleasure to share why people (yes, even Taylor) fall in love with it.

Some days just feel extra full of heart—and Julie and Chris’s wedding was one of them.

Last week, we had the privilege of working in beautiful California to celebrate their day. From a traditional ceremony at a Spanish-inspired church in Laguna Beach to a romantic alfresco reception overlooking the Pacific Ocean in San Clemente, every detail was pure magic. It was the kind of day that reminds you why we do what we do.

This celebration also held a special place in my heart, as Julie is the sister of Stephanie Vegliante—a talented photographer, trusted creative partner, and dear friend of nearly a decade. Steph and I met when I had my first baby, and she captured his newborn photos. Since then, she’s been there to document so many milestones—and to simply show up as a friend when it mattered most. She photographed my sister’s wedding. I had the honor of planning hers. And now, I’ve had the privilege of planning her sister’s.

Steph isn’t just a creative partner—she’s family. And her family is deeply special to me, my team, and my own family. Being part of Julie and Chris’s day felt like coming full circle in the most heartfelt way.

One of the greatest gifts of this work is the people it brings into your life—remarkable couples and creative partners who start as colleagues and become something more. When the lines between client, collaborator, and friend begin to blur, it’s a reminder of how personal and meaningful this work truly is. Julie and Chris’s day was a beautiful reflection of that—and one we’ll never forget.

Motherhood is my most important role—it grounds me in love, purpose, and a deep sense of belonging. It’s beautiful, messy, exhausting, and often hilarious, but it gives me purpose. Family is at the heart of everything I do, both personally and professionally, shaping how I approach each celebration we design and every love story we bring to life.

This past weekend, I was reminded of how deeply intertwined my roles as a mother, wife, friend, and business owner are. The annual Harbor Blooms installation at has become more than just a tradition—it’s a way to unite our community, share a little beauty, and celebrate the spirit of connection. Spending the weekend surrounded by creativity, friendship, and our amazing community was a beautiful way to continue our 2025 season.

That’s what makes Harbor Blooms so special. It’s more than just flowers—it’s about connection, collaboration, and celebrating our community spirit. It’s a chance to pause, breathe, and soak in the beauty of what we create together.

I’m so grateful to share this tradition with some of the most talented women in my life—partners, friends, and creatives who help bring this vision to life year after year. A special shoutout to my magic-making bestie, Jill, her team, and all our creative partners who pour their hearts into this event—raising awareness for incredible non-profits, transforming the harbor, and making it truly unforgettable.

We’ve navigated life’s ups and downs together, and this event brings joy to the community, solace, healing, and a chance to celebrate life’s wins. It’s a reminder that great things happen when we come together, creating something meaningful that touches hearts, lifts spirits, and embraces both the good and the messy moments. May we always remember to pause, breathe, smell the flowers, and toast to the beauty ahead!

Our first wedding of the 2025 season kicked off over the weekend at the breathtaking Turner Hill Mansion in Ipswich, celebrating and Dan's love—and it was nothing short of spectacular.

From the start, our vision was clear: We aimed to create a unique blend of design elements, drawing inspiration from the iconic Polo Bar, the regal elegance of a Windsor wedding, and subtle nods to the equestrian spirit—an ode to the Kentucky Derby taking place on the same day. The result was a refined, timeless celebration that seamlessly blended classic charm with a hint of Derby flair, sure to intrigue and inspire.

Despite the unpredictable weather, which we managed with the help of , the day ended in the most magical way—with a rainbow emerging during the father of the bride's toast that felt like a true sign from heaven. It was a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments, made possible by our greater vendor team's creative expertise and passion.

In just a few short days, we'll fill Scituate Harbor with blooms for our seventh annual Mother's Day Harbor Blooms installation—and our hearts can hardly believe it.

What began as a quick sketch on a scrap of paper—a wild idea dreamt up over lunch at between and Katemurtaugh—has blossomed into one of the most meaningful traditions we've had the joy of creating: a living, breathing celebration of love, remembrance, and connection.

Over the years, our team has grown, our message has spread, and these blooms have become the backdrop for many moments—joyful and tender alike. From pregnancies, births, and proposals to tributes of loss and healing, this installation has stood as a symbol of hope and togetherness. It has united strangers, lifted hearts, and spotlighted incredible South Shore nonprofits doing meaningful, life-changing work. The impact on our community is truly inspiring.

This weekend, we invite you to join us at in Scituate Harbor to experience the beauty firsthand. We'll be onsite selling stunning blooms from , hand-poured and painted candles by and , with Mama + Me photos by . Proceeds will support this year's nonprofit partner, , whose mission is to provide equitable, holistic wellness and healing resources. Their work aligns beautifully with the heart of Harbor Blooms.

Beyond thrilled to see Mackenzie & Sean's Cape Cod wedding featured in today!  

From the start, Mackenzie and Sean envisioned a wedding that felt like a cherished, generations-old Cape Cod family home—where coastal charm meets grandmillennial elegance. With rattan accents, custom floral linens, heirloom-inspired decor, and a soothing palette of soft blues, greens, and neutrals, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a warm, timeless, and personal atmosphere.  

Set against the stunning backdrop of , their wedding was a dream brought to life with thoughtful details and bespoke installations. A lush floral arch framed their ceremony, an ombré hydrangea bar served as a breathtaking focal point, and heirlooms and family photos infused the day with meaning. Custom linens, a floral-draped arbor, and an elegantly crafted band stage elevated the reception’s ambiance, while kept the dance floor packed all night. The artistry of .landry.co tied it all together, layering hydrangeas, ranunculus, and greenery for an intimate, effortlessly elegant setting.  

Mackenzie exuded timeless elegance—from her classic gown paired with an exquisite embroidered veil to her effortlessly chic reception look, flawlessly styled by the renowned .

We’re on the front page of !

We are beyond honored to finally share our editorial shoot and exclusive event in all its glory—a breathtaking blend of old-world charm and modern sophistication. Set against the timeless beauty of Newport, this project is our love letter to artful romance.

Drawing inspiration from the visionary works of Slim Aarons and Howard Cushing, we crafted an intimate celebration at the stunning , where we had the privilege of introducing this exquisite new property to our incredible New England wedding industry. Our goal was to capture the essence of a grand millennial aesthetic—where layers of color, pattern, and texture come together to tell a rich and dynamic story.

From lush florals and bespoke linens to vintage-inspired fashion and a signature white tea & fig candle, every detail was thoughtfully curated to transport guests to an era of refined elegance. This project was truly a dream brought to life, made possible by an extraordinary team of creatives whose talent and dedication made every moment magic.
