A lifelong Townie for four generations, and a small business owner in Charlestown, my favorite day is Parade Day. As a teenager, I rallied friends and neighbors to start the “Bring Back the Charlestown Carnival” campaign and we submitted floats into the parade. During the Pandemic, we continued the Parade tradition by organizing a Car Parade two years in a row.
Today, my business, Baby Boyle Bouquets, has a parade float every year, known as the float that throws the flowers and it’s the best feeling seeing everyone celebrating along the parade route. One of my favorite things is being a part of All Roads Charlestown because we bring the Town together, no matter what “road” you come from. I love this community, love to volunteer with all the non profit organizations, and giving back is the foundation of who I am.
