We build communities and unite people through laughter while making improv accessible and useful. Our history: The Rozzie Square Theater opened in May 2018, rooting the Roslindale neighborhood as the official New England home for the hit show ComedySportz, found in 25+ cities across the U.S. The theater is the only brick-and-mortar comedy club in Boston owned by a Woman and Asian American. 🙋🏻‍♀️

AND THAT’S A WRAP! Our final Level 1A showcase to take place in our 5 Basile st. home - and what a fantastic way to close it all out, with coach Alicia leading the way.

This Sunday Level 1A group was a source of joy and inspiration - congrats to Samuel, Andy, Charissa, Robert, Duncan, Teresa, Lauren, Jonas, and Randy! We have loved seeing your faces more around the The RST and we can’t wait to do it all again in Level 1B.

This long form format class explored a variety of formats while students build on scene work foundations in 2A. And what a team! We just couldn’t take our eyes off the stage.

Congrats, Antonio, Robert, Puja, Emily, Tien, Deena, Clarise, Imran, Greg, and Emily!

Special shout out to Coach Dana Besmanoff for leading them so steadily and with so much joy and fun baked into the process - it’s how everyone becomes a team here.

SIGNIFICANT AND UPROARIOUS APPLAUSE for the first ever RST Musical Improv Workshop Series graduates!!!1!

For Advanced Elective: Musical Improv 1, students learned how to create full songs, spit rhymes, craft verses, and confidentially attack musical games, all while operating without a script.

Congrats, Madalyn, Emily, Dan, Paul, Ernie, Robert, and Gerard!

Shout out to their instructor team of Michael Yang and Kristen Aldrich! You made it fun and feel like the good kind of challenge.
