We have some truly MINISCULE works on display ready to amaze you with their fine attention to detail! Over 100 pieces submitted and over 90 on display - this show is be packed full of wonder by local SBC Artists. Grab your magnifying glass and dive in!

Your Wish has been GRANTED! Tickets are currently on sale NOW for ARTini 2026 on SimpleTix! Bossier Arts Council's signature fundraiser, ARTini, returns for a night of flavor and fun on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Live Casino & Hotel Louisiana 🎫🍸🎨

ARTini celebrates various forms of creative expression and encompasses the culinary, musical, and visual arts by having local mixologists create signature martinis and compete for the coveted titles of “Judges Choice,” “People’s Choice,” and “Most M’artisanal.”

The funds raised from the event support the Bossier Arts Council's programming, local artist support, and outreach projects for the entire year.

Tickets include entrance to the event, a hand-painted martini glass, music, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and a myriad of martinis and mock-tinis to sample from some of our areas most popular restaurants & bars! Don't forget the chance to vote for your favorite martini of the evening!

Fahmida’s creative work features everything from vibrant, functional resin pieces to beautifully hand-painted rocks, each crafted with care and attention to detail.

Join us this Friday for the Opening Reception of "Pocket Sized" - a showcase of Miniature Art! 🖼️🔍

This Open Call Show is a special curation of local artwork focusing on the miniature! Each piece submitted to this show follows one guideline: all of the artwork is at least 3 inches or smaller! No limits on material, medium, or subject matter - just make it small! And with these guidelines we received over 100 Submissions! 💯

Visitors will be receive a Mini-Magnifying Glass to use as they peruse the gallery and view the works on display! These artists truly stretched the limits of their imagination and crammed so much creativity and detail into each tiny canvas! It's true what they say - Big Creative Things come in Small Packages!

The Opening Reception will be Friday, June 5th from 6-8pm at the Bossier Arts Council located on the Louisiana Boardwalk!
The show will be on display from June 2nd - July 31st, 2026

Art Meets Summer Fun here at the Bossier Arts Council this June! Join us for a month full of creativity on the Louisiana Boardwalk ☀️🖍️

This Friday is the Opening Reception to our NEW Gallery Show Pocket Sized: A Miniature Art Show! Come and see nearly One Hundred Mini-Masterpieces from local SBC Artists! Guests will receive a FREE Magnifying Glass to view the Tiny Work! 🔍 The Reception will be Friday, June 5th from 6pm - 8pm in our East Bank Gallery!

Also opening is Canvas & Cadence: Honoring Black Music, featuring the works of Karen La Beau & Ron Smith! Canvas & Cadence will feature multiple events over its two month showing including Q&A's, Listening Experiences, and more - so be sure to check it out! The Reception will be Sunday, June 7th from 2pm - 6pm at the Uneeda Biscuit Artist Lofts!

Starting June 6th, we will be hosting Sidewalk Saturdays - Artist Pop-Ups every other Saturday alongside our building. These Artist Pop-Ups will feature a rotating selection of local artists and crafters selling their work from 12pm - 6pm!

On Wednesday, June 24th we're partnering with Flying Heart Brewing to host a Paint Your Date Night where couples, friends, & families can come out for a fun night of artistry and good vibes! Participants will receive supplies to Paint their Partner and make something memorable, as well as a drink token good for One Beer (or Root Beer)! 🍻 This event will be from 6pm - 8 pm and tickets are available online!

On Tuesday, June 30th, we're hosting a Magnetic Mini Art Paint Party in our East Bank Gallery! Each participant will receive a Mini Magnetic Canvas and supplies to paint your masterpiece! This event will be from 6pm - 8 pm and tickets are available online!

In the East Bank Theatre, starting June 15th we're leading a Dorothy's Adventures in Oz! - Theatre Summer Camp with Stage to Screen Studio! This Camp is geared towards School-aged Kiddos who will learn the ropes of stage acting while traveling to the World of Oz! Camp dates will be from June 15th-19th, 9am - 12pm! Register Online!

We also have an Alice in Wonderland: The Queen of Hearts Version - Summer Theatre Class starting June 15th that will meet weekly from 1 pm - 2:30 pm! Register Online!

Lastly, our monthly BAC Brew - Artist Support with Karen La Beau and A-Part Acting Workshop events return! We had a great turnout for both of meet-ups last month, with over 40 faces showing up for A-Part! Let's hit those number again!

Speaking of Opening Receptions - next Sunday is the Opening Reception of Canvas & Cadence featuring the works of Karen La Beau & Ron Smith at the Uneeda Biscuit Artist Lofts! ❤️💛💚🖤

Their show will open on Sunday, June 7th with the reception being hosted from 2pm-5pm! This will be an interactive Visual Arts Experience celebrating the History & Culture of Black Music!

However - that's not all! After the Reception, they will be hosting special arts events all throughout June & July for you to come enjoy, so mark your calendars for those fun pop-ups once they are announced!
