We of the BAC are ready to brighten your day with a BURST of Color! How? By kicking it off with a Super Amazing Announcement! Today we're making history by sharing the artistic visionary behind this year's big event! Without further ado, join us as we raise a glass for the Featured Artist of ARTini 2025: On The Ones... Eric Francis!

Eric Francis is a Contemporary Realist Painter, Muralist, Teacher, and Museum Coordinator based in Shreveport, Louisiana. Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Haitian parents, he grew up with six siblings and eventually made his way South, earning an Associate of General Studies from Southern University at Shreveport, LA and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Painting from Centenary College of Louisiana.

Known for his detailed acrylic portraits, floral paintings, and still lifes, Eric's work captures depth and realism that draws viewers in. In addition to painting, he shares his expertise through teaching and videos that offer a behind-the-scenes look at his creative process. His art has been featured in publications like The Shreveport Times and EmptyEasel.com, and he has appeared on television to discuss his work, which is held in private collections across the region.

As a muralist, Eric was part of the artist team that brought the iconic Mega Mural to life in Downtown Shreveport, LA. Through exhibitions, commissions, and public art projects, Eric continues to make a vibrant impact on the local art community!

See him and his incredible new series of work at this year's ARTini 2025!🍸
