Whispertree (formerly Bell Valley Retreat) is a Boonville, California venue for weddings that welcomes you to the beauty and simplicity of a less-is-more celebration on 600+ pristine acres in Anderson Valley, Ca.

At Whispertree you can celebrate without the pressure of fitting into the conventional wedding box. We invite couples with a love of nature (including LGBTQ couples) to craft a unique wedding experience to honor their union and enjoy intimate and nourishing connection with family and friends.

In addition to hosting a limited number of wedding celebrations each year, Whispertree also hosts family reunions, special events, rite-of-passage events and other purposeful gatherings.

Weddings have a way of passing in the blink of an eye.

That’s one reason we love a wedding weekend.

It gives the people from different corners of your life time to actually know one another—to linger over dinner, meet for morning yoga, swim in the pond, wander the trails, or spend an afternoon together with nowhere else to be.

Friends who arrived as strangers become friends. Families mingle. Separate circles begin to overlap. By the time the ceremony begins, everyone feels a little more connected to the celebration—and to each other.

At Whispertree, we give you the space to stay awhile. A few 2027 wedding weekends are still available, and 2028 dates are now open.
