Our Story

It’s been fifty years now since Jim Walters’ father, Sid, first spoke of converting the old barn he and Jim worked cattle out of into an event center. Partnering with his wife, Jackie, the two expanded on the vision and brought it to reality. With a few tasteful refurbishments, the one hundred year old barn has made for a breathtaking backdrop, and a spacious, inviting dining space. The lake addition sets off what was already a gorgeous, unique spot, tucked away privately, just three miles off of I-70. Located just a couple miles outside of Boonville and a simple twenty-five miles of Interstate from Columbia, hotels and lodging are plentiful.
