Meet Emily Kupersanin, our Event Designer.

Emily came to catering by way of fashion design, and she brings a designer's eye and a designer's discipline to every event she builds. Off the clock, you'll find her in her garden or cuddling her cats. On the clock, she's turning big ideas into the kind of events that leave hosts actually enjoying their own party.

Sometimes the hardest part of planning an event is finding a place that feels like the day you've been picturing.

Tranquility Farm & Winery in Purcellville, VA is a 200-year-old working wine estate, 70 acres, two wine labels made right there on the property, available as a full private buyout. We're the exclusive caterer, which means when you book the venue, you get our full scratch kitchen and team of hospitality professionals with it. One team on the food, from the first tasting to the last plate cleared.

Most people picture full service catering as food arriving and someone setting it up. That's one slice of it — the part you see.

What surrounds it: the planning, where our chefs and catering specialists work together to build a seasonal menu from the ground up, shaped around your event style, guest count, budget, and dietary needs. Every dish and drink is scratch-made, sourced primarily from American family farmers and producers. No two events are the same, and neither are our menus.

Beyond the table, we can help with venue selection, rentals, florals, lighting, and enhancements like tenting and photography through partners we trust. Fewer handoffs for you, more confidence that every detail lines up with your vision.

Then comes the day itself — food arriving, setup, service, and breakdown — and the servers and bartenders on the floor are hospitality professionals first, not extra hands for the day. That's the difference between hosting your event and running it.

Corporate lunches, team dinners, full holiday celebrations, all scratch-made by our chefs in our own kitchens. Tell us what you're picturing and we'll take it from there.

There are no shortcuts for us.

The pasta gets rolled and cut by hand. The breads are mixed, kneaded, and baked in our own bakery. Stocks simmer for hours, dressings and sauces are whisked in house, and the pickles, preserves, and chocolates are all made by our own team. Even the spice blends and bar syrups.

Being majority owned by American family farmers is why we cook this way. When you're accountable to the people growing the food, you don't cut corners.

Meet Kim Goral, our Director of Operations.

Kim helped launch our catering program eight years ago and has spent 13 years with the company making sure every event lands exactly the way it's supposed to. A lifelong sailor with a soft spot for gardening, motorcycle rides, and Brandi Carlile concerts, she brings the same precision and joy to her work that she brings to everything else.

The first thing guests find, and the hardest one to walk away from.

Aged and soft cheeses chosen to play off each other, cured meats, fruit at its seasonal peak, and accompaniments we make ourselves. Built to look like this when the first guest arrives and to stay full through the last one.

Passed appetizers are the first thing guests taste, and they set the tone for everything after.

We build ours to be eaten standing up, one hand holding a drink, mid conversation. That means every piece is bite-sized, sturdy enough to make it across a full room, and finished minutes before the trays go out.
