Seven youth exhibitors qualified for the first ever Boone County Fair Master Showmanship Contest. To qualify for this prestigious contest, they first won their species highest division of showmanship. Youth represented Beef, Sheep Swine, Meat Goat, Dairy Goat, Dairy Cow and Horse. For the contests, exhibitors showed five of the animal species, and answered questions about two species.

Wyatt Herrstom was named the 2025 Boone County Fair Master Showman. Wyatt received a custom belt buckle, his name on a permanent plaque in the Show Ring at the Fairgrounds and a $500 cash prize, thanks to our sponsor Herman Drainage.
