Fried & Loaded Tamales?!?!

Since I can remember, colder months of the year were for tamales, pozole, champurrado, atole.
As a family we would make big batches of tamales and the recalentados (reheating leftovers) meant lightly frying tamales on the stove. The outside was crispy, while the inside was soft. We would top them with salsas, crema, cebollas, curtidos, and cotija. So good that eventually it became the normal way to eat them for us. Loaded and crispy on the outside 🤤. I knew I had to sell them this way, to give people the chance to try something different.

I keep this as a seasonally offered item, while they last because **good** tamales are A LOT of work. Mine are stuffed with meat, flavorful masa and over 1/2 lb each (they're biggies).

This Sunday we will have:

Chicken verde
Pork (rojo)
Poblano Cheese

All are gf, with the poblano cheese also being vegetarian.

We will have freshly steamed tamales and ones ready to be loaded! Come and get them before we sell out! (I made a limited amount).

Just want them Loaded but not fried? That's OK too- just let us know 😊.

We'll be at Ossman Harding Dental in Tehaleh tomorrow from 12-7pm (or sell out!) Special thanks to Ossman Harding Dental gdds for giving us a space to serve you all!

Also, I'll bring my Strawberry Horchata too!

See you all soon 🫶🤗
