✨ What an incredible night at Grit & Glitz! ✨

We gathered together for cocktail hour, meaningful networking, and dove deep into one of the topics so many of us wrestle with—imposter syndrome. We learned that we’re not alone in those “do I belong here?” moments, and we walked away with tools to quiet comparison and step into our true value. 💎

Looking around the room at this amazing group of women reminded me why we do this. Together, we grow stronger, braver, and more connected.

I am not sure if I have adequate words to describe how incredible it’s been opening up a brick and mortar in this town. This time last year is when the seed of an idea was sewn in us (thanks in large part to Lauren and Andrew Marburger, thanks for giving us the push we needed lol)

Sometimes you get this picture in your head; and you think it’s the only path. What I want to tell you is that sometimes being open to that plan changing, makes room for the greatest outcomes to appear. Sometimes you find yourself on a path that looks only vaguely like what you thought you signed up for, and you get the opportunity to take a risk on yourself (and others too). And that, well that’s exactly the journey you didnt know you needed. Vagabond CoffeehouseVagabond Coffeehouse for walking into our lives right when you did. Thank you for seeing and investing in this place when it was far from ready. We are so excited to do this with you.

We are ready now to grow this thing with grace, so please mark your calendars for 10/16 3-7 pm to celebrate with us. Specialty coffees, cafe goodies, snacks and maybe a few more surprises are in store. Our girl Haven Shala will have her Bolivar Wellness Cooperative and Boutique open upstairs, and we have even lined up none other than…

Your hometown favorite El Albatross serving up SUBLIME CLASSICS, because obviously. Our gratitude for what Zach and Aimee Keller Salapack built here before this, and how incredibly helpful they’ve been is the reason im teary writing this. They watched it all fold out, and showed up for us. Only in a place like Bolivar does that happen. (Thanks for letting me become the new local pain in your ass knocking on your door when i can’t start a leaf blower lmao)

The Vagabond brand is dedicated to delivering an exceptional food and beverage experience to our community. Thanks to the incredible support we've received, we've grown beyond the cozy walls of The Vagabond Café. Our final day at this beloved location will be Friday, August 1st, and we are excited to begin a new chapter.

From the very beginning, Vagabond has always been about more than coffee—it's been about connection, community, and creating something meaningful through food and drink.

What started as a small café in downtown Canton has grown beyond our wildest dreams, all because of your support. And now, we’re excited to begin a brand new chapter: opening Vagabond Coffeehouse & Catering in my hometown of Bolivar.

After 23 years here, bringing this dream to life in the place that shaped me feels like everything coming full circle. With the help of the Wallace family and the beautiful Cooper’s Hall, we finally have the perfect home for our next adventure.

We’ll be serving incredible coffee, expanding our drink menu, and investing in local partnerships—while continuing to share the hospitality and heart behind both Vagabond and Rolling Refreshments.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Jumpstart organization for welcoming us so warmly into the Canton community. To our loyal customers at the Huntington Building who became friends, and to the family and friends who have stood by us through every step of this journey—we are endlessly grateful.

The Vagabond Café will officially close its doors on Friday, August 1st to begin the transition and move to our new space—Vagabond Coffeehouse—set to open in early Fall 2025. Any outstanding gift cards or certificates can be redeemed during this week, or once Vagabond Coffeehouse opens.

While we won’t have a brick-and-mortar location during this transitional time, you can still find Rolling Refreshments out at events over the next few months! Follow us on social media for the official opening date and updates on our progress.

🍓 The strawberry fever dream has ended, and we can’t wait to do it again next year 🍓

✨💗 Our hearts are so full. 💗✨
Thank you to each and every one of the beautiful women that decided to celebrate this Mother’s Day with us at Cooper’s. I felt my Grandmother Cooper today here in a way I haven’t in a long, long time. Family is the ‘why’ here at Cooper’s. We want this to be a place families can gather, grow, and celebrate each other. Now, more than ever, it’s imperative that we do not lose site of our joy, of our bonds and of how much we cherish each other.

Here’s to strong women. May we know them, may we raise them, and may we be them.
