Absolutely love photographing big family sessions! Getting that main group shot with everyone is important, but capturing how all the kiddos and family members interact with one another and the location tells more of your story. I love all the candid in between moments. I had a lovely golden hour session this fall with the Rheault family in the foothills before it got chilly 🍂

There’s nothing better than capturing a beautiful fall wedding. It rained most of the day, until it was time for the ceremony, creating a moody setting. The colors and florals were absolutely perfect. There was so much genuine emotion between Sam + Rob and their friends and family on their wedding day. Sam shared a first look with her father and brother, sweet enough to melt your heart.

Their vows to each other were so sweet. Sam writes “they always say, if you can get a woman to laugh… that’s what hooked me. And years later, you still make me laugh so much and I am so thankful for that. But we can also talk seriously about anything and everything- that’s our thing, communication. And we trust each other so deeply. I love that we can laugh together and talk about anything. I love that you support me, and push me to do great things, but you also hold me.” These words of love and honesty Sam wrote come through in these images.

Rob’s reaction to Sam walking down the aisle was so joyful. And they know how to throw one hell of a party!

Fall weddings are my absolutely favorite in Idaho! I loved capturing Sam + Abbi’s wedding last year in Weiser. Celebrating q***r, young love holds a special place in my heart 🏳️‍🌈❤️ No matter your age or gender, your love deserves to be celebrated. So obsessed with Abbi’s suit and pocket boutonnière! Also, isn’t their cake incredible?? 🍰

Kat + Mike wed at last summer in front of Long’s Peak. It was one of the most beautiful weddings I have had the pleasure of capturing. From the florals, to the views, to the tears, it was one for the books. The rain didn’t start until after the ceremony and most of the portraits for the day were done. It’s always good luck to have some rain on your wedding day, as well as some cute umbrella photos.

I’ve known Kat since we were kids. We grew up down the street and her mom was our Girl Scout leader. So this one was close to the heart. I remember meeting Mike for the first time in Seattle a few years ago when we were hanging out at her house, while I was visiting for another wedding I was shooting. We had such a fun night together and I knew these two were the real deal. Fast forward to June 2023, and they shared a beautiful, heartfelt wedding day. Traveling to Colorado to capture their weekend is something I’ll never forget. I’m so grateful to capture love stories of friends old and new.

My favorite details from the day had to be the florals and Kat’s floral veil! Aren’t they incredible?

One of my dear friends married her best friend last summer in our hometown with a beautiful backyard reception. Ellen + Dennis’s joy and love for each other is abundant. Their wedding was a reflection of that. I miss these humans so much and was so thankful to be a part of their gorgeous California wedding day! 🌴🌺

Ellen and I met working at Starbucks down the street from her house and the rest was history. I remember meeting Dennis for the first time and thought what a lovely match they are! They are really two peas in a pod.

some q***r pride and prejudice type s**t 😍 from my most recent engagement session with Sam + Abigail. had some fun with motion blur after the sun went down! once Sam put on this white dress, i knew they needed to lay down in a green field together like a storybook. because that’s how their love feels! happy pride month 🏳️‍🌈
