Hello Columbia Village Neighbors,

Some of you may have already received this ballot packet, others will receive it over the next several days. A group of community volunteers will be delivering ballot packets to neighbors who have not yet had the opportunity to vote on the proposed CC&R update.

If you've already voted, THANK YOU! We truly appreciate you taking the time to participate.

If you haven't had a chance to vote yet, we've enclosed a paper ballot to make the process as simple and convenient as possible. We hope you'll take a few moments to review the information and cast your vote.

Hello Neighbors,
We would like to provide an update regarding the Legends Ridge backflow device and the Aphrodite pump house.

Repairs to both facilities are currently scheduled to take place between June 9 and June 12. During this period, irrigation water service will be temporarily shut off while the necessary work is completed.

There was already a scheduled a water shutdown to perform repairs on the system. To minimize disruption to the soccer fields, school grounds, the apartments and CVOA with multiple service interruptions, Simplot has coordinated their repairs to the Legends Ridge backflow and Aphrodite pump house during this same shutdown window. Simplot is also awaiting the arrival of parts required for both repairs, making this timeframe the most efficient and practical for completing the work.

Please note that CVOA is not responsible for the water loss associated with these issues or the cost of the corrective repairs.

The responsible parties have been identified, are fully aware of the situation, and are actively working toward resolution.

We appreciate everyone's patience, communication, and concern regarding these matters. We will continue to provide updates as additional information becomes available.

Thank you,
CVOA Board of Directors

Quick update, friends and neighbors, regarding the ongoing backflow water issues.

As mentioned in a recent Nextdoor post, one issue is located near the pump house on Aphrodite. There is also a separate issue at the entrance to Legends Ridge. We understand that seeing water running continuously is concerning, and we share those concerns.

The HOA and Sentry Management have made multiple requests to the irrigation system management company to address these problems and have escalated the matter to the owner of the irrigation system. While the repairs are ultimately dependent on their response and timeline, we will continue to follow up and advocate for a resolution.

We also want to clarify that the water being lost is not being billed to CVOA and will not impact HOA dues. While that doesn't make the water waste any less frustrating, we wanted to address concerns that this issue could affect dues.

Thank you to everyone who has helped identify and report these situations. If you notice an issue in the future, please feel free to contact the Landscape Committee directly so we are notified as quickly as possible. You can log in at cvoa.net and access the committee message boards, which we monitor closely.

We appreciate your help in keeping an eye on our neighborhood and bringing these issues to our attention. Have a great day!
