Ethanol gas, the gift that keeps on giving - and by giving, I mean causing headaches. But seriously, adding a fuel stabilizer can help break down this problematic gas into something slightly more manageable. Still, don't expect miracles - there's no magic solution to completely eliminate ethanol gas problems during storage. Most often the carburetor will need to be replaced to repair the machine properly whether a stabilizer was used or not in ethanol gas. So you're better off using 100% non-ethanol gas and a marine-grade fuel stabilizer - it's like the ultimate insurance policy for your machine.
