This is one of my favorite Flowering Crabapple trees called Klehem’s Bechtel. I learned about this tree and many others when I did the Horticultural Program at Boise State University many years ago. I was new to Boise and I got to know the city by driving around and looking at trees with our Professor Gary Moen. These trees can be seen along the Greenbelt in Ann Morrison Park and just across the river from Ann Morrison also along the Greenbelt. I would love to find one of these trees at a nursery. Please let me know if you see one for sale in Boise.
