Allenberry Legend has it that it was the uncle of American Folk hero Davey Crockett who first settled along the Yellow Breeches Creek where Allenberry sits today.

Allenberry is situated upon 57 wooded acres along the Yellow Breeches and welcomes guests with casual dining, wedding and event space, lodging and living opportunities. By 1778, according to county tax rolls, James Crockett owned the then two-farm tract just outside the quaint country town of Boiling Springs. Soon after, he and his family raised a barn and house that, more than 200 years later, are still in use at Central PA’s premiere rustic boutique resort.

We'll be closing early this Labor Day to give our team time with their families. The resort and front desk close at noon Monday, with no cafe or restaurant service.

But don't worry – we'll still have fresh coffee and our famous sticky buns available for you to enjoy by the creek.

🍺 The After Party at The Barn Terrace is officially underway!
As the sun sets over the Yellow Breeches Creek, we're celebrating an incredible first day of the Cumberland Valley Fly Fishing Festival. Join us for live music, amazing giveaways, and craft brews poured fresh by Troegs Brewing alongside smooth bourbon from Bluebird Distilling.

A heartfelt thank you to all our fly fishing vendors - Sage, Orvis, TCO Fly Shop, and everyone who shared their incredible gear and expertise with our Allenberry community today. Your passion for the sport has made this festival truly special.
