Thank you from Stepping Out Florida to the 50+ guests last evening at the Pavilion Grille who celebrated the 2nd night of Passover! We enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner, Kosher red wine and music (and dancing) by the fabulous Andrea Garofolo and Diego. Happy holiday to all!

I learned a terrific new card game today! I went "Stepping Out" to the Movies of Delray to see "Yaniv" and to MEET THE DIRECTORS. The movie was fabulous! The Directors, Amnon Carmi and Ben Ducoff, are teachers who've known each other since the 4th grade and they used their own real high school students in the film (and themselves in roles too!)
After the Q & A with the directors, many in the audience opted to stay on in the lobby and play the card game-named Yaniv! It was so easy to learn that 9 year old Cody played too and won a few games! You don't need to know cards, games or math or even like cards, but you will get hooked playing this game! We all stayed on for 2 hours playing! What fun!!!!

I'm "Stepping Out" at the PRIME EXPO. It's really fun: people, lectures, booths with helpful senior info, tastings of olive oils, wines, more.. on till 2pm. At The Studio in Mizner Park. Come on down!

Another extraordinary monthly lecture by the beloved and respected Pastor Bill. More than 100 people of all faiths gathered this morning at Boca Community Church for networking, lunch and the inimitable wisdom shared by Pastor Bill. Today's theme was about personalities, Introvert or Extrovert? Many thanks to Barry and Maria Siegel of The Siegel Law Group for the most appreciated invite!

Went "Stepping Out" to a Rockstar Networking event held at Biergarten in Royal Palm Plaza and hosted by Yoav Cohen of Cohen Insurance Brokerage. It was nice to see old friends and meet new.

Enjoyed "Stepping Out" to see The Florida Intergenerational Orchestra's final concert of the season called "Harmony Across Generations." Created and conducted by Lorraine Marks-Field, the orchestra is in its 20th year. It has 52 volunteer musicians of all ages, religions, races, cultures and abilities. Drumsticks were passed out to the audience to tap together for their signature song, "The Syncopated Clock", their mascot, an adorable white & black bunny was carried around for all to see and pet, actor Peter Wayne Galman dressed and sang as Willie Wonka and Vince Zabik dressed and sang as Elvis. There were also songs from Les Miserables and a standing ovation at the conclusion of the concert. Wow!

Just FYI: Another favorite restaurant bites the dust. This is the sign on the front door last night at Walt's Restaurant at 6030 SW 18th Street in Boca. (also Carrabba's closed at 6909 SW 18th as well!)

Enjoyed "Stepping Out" to The Wick Theater tonight to see "No, No, Nanette." Though it was written 100 years ago, the themes of love, loyalty and humor still work as they are universal. The costumes from that era are exquisite, the songs are memorable ("Tea for Two and You for Me!") and the ensemble tap numbers are simply awesome! I love how they put the words up on a screen and the audience sang along with the cast in the grand finale! What fun!!

Wow! A new restaurant! I went "Stepping Out" to "Lucky Fish Beach Bar & Grill" in Dania Beach on its FIRST DAY open and its St. Patrick's Day Bash! This is the ultimate beach feeling with the grass-thatched roof bar, a live music stage, and a breezy cafe deck to have great seafood, casual bites & "Flip Flop Cocktails" looking right onto the ocean (for breakfast too!)
Come have tropical drinks at this laid-back beachside paradise where you can come in your bathing suit or with your dog. Oh, and it was my first taste of Fried Oreos & Vanilla Sauce for dessert. Let's just say, I'll be back! Located at 65 N. Beach Road, Dania Beach. Look at these mouthwatering photos!
