The first time you see each other on your wedding day is such a surreal and special moment. This is why having a ‘First Look’ before your ceremony can be even more impactful than seeing each other for the first time down the aisle…because this private moment can be accompanied by hugs and kisses, real intimate emotion shared, unrestrained tears. A First Look is the perfect way to get any jitters and anxiety out, to read sweet private vows to each other, and just share a moment of stillness together before the excitement of the big ceremony and formalities.

I cannot advocate enough for doing a First Look on your wedding day—for all of the above reasons, and even being able to take the majority of your portraits pre-ceremony in this case, which can allow you to relax and enjoy the magic of each remaining moment of your wedding day ✨
