If you haven’t been to Blue Heron Lavender yet, you HAVE to check it out next weekend. Lavender is my absolute favorite, so I could have stayed there all day if the rain hadn’t started—but they have “you pick” or “you cut” hours again next weekend—check them out!! It’s SO beautiful!! ❤️💜❤️💜

I can't tell you how bittersweet this session is. Aaron is my student worker at ONU. He has been my right hand man for four years. He's an incredibly talented photographer, and while I hope I have taught him at least a little, I know he has taught me. He's an engineering student and speaks in technical terms and knows how to link 3 cameras with some outdated transmitters and barely functioning ipods....he knows what piece of equipment to hand me before I've even decided what I want. And he shoots events I can't make it to (Or I just don't want to 😉). He's off to grad school and I can't wait to see what he does next. All my best Aaron! 🧡🖤🧡🖤

I got to photograph such a BEAUTIFUL event on Saturday at Little Riley Creek Farm. If you missed it, look for the next one! It was a lovelyy afternoon of tea, homemade snacks and finger sandwiches, and floral crowns and harp music. It was the perfect mother daughter event.
