I'm officially planning Dino Park in the Dark for October. Same Fridays and Saturdays weather permitting. Thinking maybe 8-10pm? or 7-9pm? Might be daylight still at 7 though?

I'm also thinking we should go back to reservations? Just as a precaution. I'm still smarting from that Halloween event years ago. We don't want to repeat that. I'd do a limit of 30 cars per night, 5.00 donation per person? Made in advance, much like we do our parties.

Cosplaying/costumes are permitted just like in summer everything the same. There won't be a "haunted house" or any candy being given out. Just to clear that up.

What do you think?

So with the rain this weekend I’m officially canceling Dino park in the dark this month.

My new goal is to pull it off in October. This will not be a haunted house or anything but the same all ages Dino centric event we always run. Just in a month where it will hopefully be cooler and since it gets dark earlier the kids can attend longer and we can start it sooner. Say 8pm vs 10pm?

I do need some volunteers to be dinosaurs and scientists or park rangers and carry baby Dino’s for photos?

Sadly we are again closed this weekend due to weather. I have been working on some things though. October is looking more likely.

Happy 4TH everyone! Even though the fireworks upset the dinos (extinction event reminder) they still would love your support for our current fundraiser! : https://www.facebook.com/share/17r48AAeqU/

Can you feel the heat? Boy I can. The volcanos are really acting up!

I have decided to postpone Dino Park in the Dark til next week and see if this heat takes a break and moves on. I have a lot of setup to do that requires me to be out all day to get it all done and can't handle it being the colossal fossil I am lol

I am considering a move to October for DPitD. It would probably be a lot cooler, we no longer have the haunted attraction to deal with, and with it getting dark earlier, kids wouldn't have to be out as late as in Summer.

Due to the heat and humidity I’m considering postponing dinosaur park in the dark. Opinions?
