Island Style Productions Island style productions is a full scale, Polynesian dance company. We also provide a full scale Polynesian performance.

Three things that we emphasize in our group, especially with the Siva Afi or Fire knife dance is respect, courage and humility. Here at ISP we have taken such an approach to our traditional Samoan fire knife dancing by providing levels in which we teach our students. First, we start with the practice stick in order for them to learn the basic movements. Then elevating them to the fire stick, allowing them to gradually gain confidence and experience with the fire. And ultimately moving them up to the fire knife. So proud to have our first group of students leveling up to the fire stick! It takes a village and I’m so grateful for those that are in mine!

Over a month ago our group had the privilege of performing for Pam’s celebration of life, as she wanted to be celebrated before she was to be with the Lord. One of her wishes was to go to Hawaii, and although she couldn’t her family decided to bring the islands to her. We were so fortunate to be apart of such a special occasion. Yesterday we got news of her passing, and it only affirms that life is precious, celebrate and love those around you!
