Hello, my beloved Southern Sweethearts! I am writing to share with you that I will be taking a temporary leave of absence until early April. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and I appreciate your understanding. I have faith that you will continue to support me and my business, and I look forward to catering to your needs as soon as I can return.

Our community is blessed with incredibly talented bakers and caterers, and I am grateful to recommend them to you during my absence. Here are some exceptional options to consider: for special occasion desserts, Taylor at The Messy Baking Company; for perfect cheesecakes, Arial at The Little Bakery; for killer cupcakes, The Sweet Shoppe of the South; and for home-cooked meals, Cortney at The White House Corner Kitchen.

Sweet & Southern was my baby before my precious boy came along. God called me to do a work and I have been faithful in doing so. There have been times that I questioned God and tried to do things my way(I don’t recommend that).

We have seen amazing growth, multiple moves, dealt with a pandemic, suffered loss, lost buildings to conduct business, but have never been forsaken by the almighty hand of God.

A building is necessary to conduct business and we are facing another move. I am praying that this time the location will be more permanent. I will share the address with Y’all when the time comes (Blue Ridge, just outside city limits)

Effective June 1, all ordering will be down and book will be closed until the move is complete. I have a lot of work to do, I promise I will work as quickly as I can to get back to you all. I thank God for each one of you and for the support that you all have given.
