Attention Blue Hill-area customers!

With summer schedules starting, is the farm off of your regular circuit? Missing that golden extreme cream in your morning coffee? Fear not! After a many year hiatus, we have restarted our Blue Hill Dairy Drop.

We are delivering to Fair Mount Farm on Saturday mornings with pick up available from 10am to 4pm. This is for preorders only.

I’m emerging from social media hibernation to annouce that i’m finally setting sights on barn/farmstand renovations and much needed updates at Fair Mount Farm. This building, built by Jean Hay-Bright and the late Dennis King and his late 1980’s King Hill Farm crew used to house Hay’s Farm Stand, and then later Hancock Organic Growers. Our plans include reestablishing it as a farm stand and business space.

Stop by on Saturdays this summer or join us the Quill's End Farm Blue Hill buying club to learn about or plans and progress. Careful or you will end up as endeared to it as me!!

September Updates: Greetings all! We are sad to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, the west coast musician LITTLE WINGS and his east coast supporting band had to cancel and have rescheduled their entire Yankee Charms IV tour around the Northeast for July 2025

It included a planned October stop at Fair Mount Farm. The show at Fair Mount was to be our first significant music event since our fledgling project under the umbrella of Tilth Arts and Agriculture- that works to support and co-develope arts and food system talent in Blue Hill and regionally - began.

That said the farm side of Fair Mount is humming, our CSA is in full clip, we are sending food and feeding folks across the region, and are especially grateful for the weekly features of our produce on Tinder Hearth pizzas and in their salads. As well as Healthy Peninsula’s Magic Food Bus whom we deliver to weekly.

Our broccoli raab and baby arugula has also been featured Blue Hill Co-op and will return to their shelves this fall!

Our fall fundraising campaign is set to kick off in a few weeks. Our goal for the campaign is to raise a greenhouse that will double as a summer stage, and take us one step closer to our goal of an 18week summer stage in 2025 and beyond.

We are fierce advocates for food systems and for musicians, installation and land art, and environmental art, and storytelling of all types.

For those who haven’t heard we also run a year round Artist in Residence program as well as a Business Development - the Tilth Accelerator- in the winter season.

Every Thursday from 12-3 meet us at Bucksport Bay Farmers' Market . Today we’re bringing a lot of Broccoli Rabe, a mix of cauliflower, romanesco, cabbage and broccoli heads, cucumbers, mesclun mix, mizuna, our very first jalapeño peppers, summer squash, chard, kale.

Our unheated tomatoes are ripening fast now and we expect them to arrive at market next week. Late summer flowers, along with peaches are coming in early August and we are anticipating apples starting in late August.

Did you know?! Fair Mount Farm delivers fresh vegetable to Brooksville, Maine every Tuesday! Today we are bringing A LOT of fresh vegetables including Summer salads, broccoli, broccoli raab, summer squash, zucchini, cabbage, mizuna, beets, chard, cut flowers and herbs to Brooksville Maine Farmers Market in 9am-noon today. Come on out and help us sell out! See you there!
