There’s been a new kid on the block at the Blue Hill Store this past Friday and made the store look magnificent! This week we will be having him back at it ! Stay tuned for new store hours and for now here’s a lil peak inside ! You will have to come meet Montana ! Need flowers today - call our sister store Lougee and Frederick’s at 207-947-4521 and we will help you out! Our goal is to get the cooler filled in Blue Hill soon ( we had to regulate it) it decided to give a bit of a headache but we battled it and we won we think ! Finally! For this week we will be open Wednesday- Friday 10-4 ! We look forward to be your home town florist and Yes We will deliver !

Please note our temporary hours until our cooling unit is in place we will have fresh arrgements and you can pre order bouquets and special requests - and YES WE DO PROM CORSAGES N BOUTS!
W-Th -10-4 ~ Fri 9-12- this weeks hours! We will have approximately one to two more weeks of a little less forgiving hours but bare with us we are SO close! We promise you it will be worth it in the end!

We will OPEN FRIDAY MAY 9 @ 9 am - ! We will have premade beautiful bouquets to choose from . We will also be open Saturday 9-4 as well! There’s still work in progress but we promise you it will be worth the trip plus a sneak peak of what’s to prevail on the grand opening day! However we’re ready enough to offer up some flowers, plants and a few gift ideas for Mothers Day! Come on down to 37 Water Street Friday and Saturday 9-4 !

We are moving right along with 37 Water Street! Cooker is on final stage ! Paint is done! Lights are going on! Floor is started! We are looking to be Open by May ! Sorry for the delay we ran into some snags within the building but we have them all repaired and everything up to date- when we do it we do it right! Excited to be coming back to my hometown to service all the surrounding areas and YES we will service all of our SWH customers it’s no different then what we have done the last 7 years, we will deliver and give you everything we always have just from a little further away!

Seems to be a person going around town stating that Burkes Hollow has been sold and they are the new owner this is FALSE information! Burkes Hollow WILL be moving but is NOT closing - we are working on the move, we are NOT SOLD! Details are coming on opening hours for the Blue Hill location, as stated we can service you no matter where our home base is, people have been reaching out to us at Lougee and Frederick’s to fill thier floral needs, we Jane made the move in Bangor a few more things to tend to but we will be underway with an opening date for Blue Hill soon.

We’re on the Move! Blue Hill branch will be opening soon ! Stay tuned for updated hours! Bangor Location of Lougee and Frederick’s is in full swing in the new location at 21 Washington Street, Bangor.

Due to our two other locations needing all staff on board and a family funeral that will be having us out of state at the end of the week we will remain closed in the Southwest Harbor location, we are having to take a unit from that location to our Bangor location - as we all know this world of things being shipped etc , we all know it to well- we are robbing Peter to help Paul at this point - the things we have to do! 🙄 What few small businesses that can remain open it’s crazy how long you have to wait to get electricians, plumbers, carpenters, we are very fortunate. Our attention and priority does need to be on the main store that provides the smaller two so it’s important we get this all into place for Lougee and Fredericks, there is 70 ft of cooler space that we must get closed in, A move is in the works for SWH Burkes Hollow at some point - we will keep you all updated . At this point it’s most imperative to get Lougee and Fredericks moved as this is the busiest store, provides for the other locations, etc- noone knows the whole process of these three businesses- and Burke’s Hollow in Blue Hill to get open, - we did not expect to have one let alone two of our locations sell this year, but here we are, it’s ok and WE WILL REMAIN OPEN NO MATTER OUR LOCATION! The best part we are able to service our customers no matter where home base is ! Thank you to everyone for the calls, emails and messages they are much appreciated. For me my heart feels in a million pieces with a loss at the moment , this loss is huge to me, a trip to New Hampshire to family will bring some comfort but for now time and trying to find ways to cope. Death is never easy . For me I’m thankful for my staff, friends and family abroad. From the bottom of my heart - ❤️ THANK YOU-

Let’s clear up some miscommunication and rumors around town : Burkes Hollow Florist is NOT closing - we are NOT GOING OUT OF BUSINESS as being told when phones have been answered in the past week which we were un aware of until alot of community members and other local businesss reached out to us. We addressed last week there may be a possibility of a move - possibly beyond our control and we were honest and said we would address this however even if we move it does not mean the doors will close ! We have a brand new location almost ready to open in Blue Hill and we have Lougee and Frederick’s in Bangor. You have an owner here that supports every small business and will go above and beyond to support each and everyone of them, old or new. We’re all in this together. We will keep everyone informed as we get Bangor on the move ! Until then thank you to everyone that has reached out with information and concerns we hope this clears up yet once again false information.
