This week was BUSY! Three drop off dinners, one large event for BR Charity Horseshow, drop off for a tent at the Symphony On The Lake - CHETOLA Resort, and a full service dinner for one of our favorite clients! Whew! I’m exhausted but grateful! Every single event was for a repeat client!

Boy! I got back from Italy and hit the ground running! So thankful for my friend, and fellow culinary school classmate, Randy, who came down from Virginia to help me prep this week! Three different parties, three totally different menus. We knocked it out of the park and received amazing compliments! Ended the week with a birthday party for me planned by my husband!

Whew! That’s a wrap! We did 3 events this weekend that started with a beautiful cocktail party in Blowing Rock to celebrate neighbors, and being back in the mountains for the summer, then we did a sweet, plated dinner for an elopement, and I finished the weekend celebrating the life of a dear client, friend, and one of the original Blowing Rock Horseshow Board members. ❤️

Today I fed the Physical Therapy team at as a “thank you” for getting me back on my feet again after my recent knee replacement surgery. I 100% believe that is why I did so well after surgery! My PT guy, Jacob loves Mexican, so I did a taco bar. They were so excited and grateful ☺️ Mark and his buddies put up my electric fence to keep the bears away from the bees 🐝!! A great, productive, beautiful day! ♥️

Let me tell you…when I told my friend that I could provide hot meals if she knew anyone in Avery County who needed them, she jumped right on it! Tasha has been a huge help in her community with Hurricane Relief efforts, and this was no exception! She got her “girl squad “ in order, made a flyer, and had folks lined up to get hot meals today when I delivered! I just love it when things come together ❤️‍🩹 Thank you also to my girl for providing Stickboy cookies for the occasion! I just love my community and the love we share for one another!
