My husband and I operate a fair concession and catering business.

We started Bissinger's Apple and Peach Dumplings at the Bloomsburg Fair in 1994. Our product is made on-site fresh daily. We use local apples and peaches and serve our dumplings with Manning's homemade cinnamon or vanilla ice cream. My Catering business was started with my sister-in-law in 1999. We offer homestyle comfort foods as our specialty. We have catered for 4-1200 people. We are only an off-premise caterer. We offer a wide variety of menus for all occasions or we can customize a menu to suit our client.

It’s a beautiful day here at the Columbia-Montour Visitors Bureau Covered Bridge and Arts Festival! ☀️

Dumplings are coming out of the oven and ready to be served on this crisp fall morning! 🍂🍁

There are over 350 arts & crafts vendors and some delicious lunch options, stop by and do some Christmas shopping and grab a bite to eat! We’re here until 5PM today and tomorrow and 4PM on Sunday.

Reminder- we only have APPLE dumplings with ice cream for this event, NO PEACH! 🍎🍦

The Bloomsburg Fair has come to an end but we are picking up right where we left off! Tomorrow begins the Columbia-Montour Visitors Bureau Covered Bridge and Arts Festival! 🎨🍁🍂

Thank you all for voting us as the BEST APPLE DUMPLING of The Bloomsburg Fair❤️ so much time and love truly goes into each dumpling that leaves out stand and we’re grateful to serve you!

We are in the SAME LOCATION as we are during the Bloomsburg Fair and we will be serving up our delicious APPLE DUMPLINGS! 🍎🍏

We’re sorry to report that there are no peaches left this year, but the apples from OHF Orchards are top tier and so flavorful! Don’t forget to top it with some cinnamon ice cream!

Come out and see us and enjoy some amazing shopping from over 300 vendors!

The sun is about to rise on one last, delicious day of The Bloomsburg Fair!!! ☀️🎡

We can’t believe the week is already coming to a close! It’s one week of long hours, late nights, a hardworking crew and a whole lot of fun❤️ truly one of the best weeks of the year and we couldn’t do it without YOU!

Did you know- there is not ONE SINGLE DUMPLING in our stand at the beginning of each day? There are no leftovers or extras, every day we start new and begin with a crate of local OHF Orchards apples and a tub of our handmixed dough to make the fresh dumplings you all know and love! 🫶

We’re so thankful for the support we’ve had and we can’t wait to continue serving your favorite apple and peach dumplings today and next week for the Columbia-Montour Visitors Bureau Covered Bridge Arts Festival! 🎨🎭

What an amazing preview night of the 2026 Bloomsburg Fair! You guys showed up, ready to eat and enjoy our favorite time of the year! 🍗🎟️🎪🎡🍎

We have had a blast over the last few days reading your guesses and just hearing stories of things that you guys love the most about our special fair! Thank you for making The Bloomsburg Fair special for us and including our family stand in some of your fondest family memories and traditions! From mutton busting, to first concerts, to first dates and marriages that last a lifetime, and stories of working or just enjoying a delicious apple dumpling- you guys certainly know how to make a place feel like home! 🏠

If you are local and had a chance to grab the newspaper yesterday, you’ll see and read why the Bloomsburg Fair is home to us and though change is hard, it’s inevitable! We’re so so so grateful for all the support we’ve had as the 3rd generation of Bissinger’s step in as we learn what it’s like to run the stand that our parents have literally grown up in! ❤️

Yesterday’s trivia was a tough one, so we decided to give the prize to a few winners who hit the nail on the head!! 🥳

Bloomsburg Fair is more than just a job for us, it is part of so many fond moments that we share as a family! Austin and I got engaged during the fair in 2022 and shared with our friends and family the exciting news that we were expecting our first little one during the 2024 fair! We are blessed to share these wonderful memories, among others, during this special week!

As the pictures show, Marlowe has no choice but to LOVE the fair and we hope to continue to show her what hard work, great friends and family by your side, and lots of fun looks like as she grows up under the red and white tent! She’s spent the week so far jumping in puddles and taking naps a few noisy fair naps❤️
