I'm a portrait photographer in Bloomington, IL serving joyful, classic couples and families. I'm also Luke's wife, Grayson & Beau's mama, and a doodle mom running on Jesus & iced coffee here in Central IL! Since 2011, I've been serving Illinois couples & families who desire a stress-free, streamlined & joyful photoshoot by providing an experience that allows my clients to fully enjoy this special

season and receive jaw-dropping, joy-filled photos they'll pass down for generations. As a mama to two boys under 2½ years old and a photographer in Bloomington, IL, I know exactly how you feel as a mom: You're perpetually shocked at how time flies, you're a little tired, and you've never been happier in your life. I built a business on what I experienced as a retired wedding photographer of 10 years and as a mother myself in order to make portrait photography the most joyful, easy experience for my clients!

A relaxing Sunday at home watching football (and church online because !) seemed like the perfect day to finally share a few of my favorite moments from Kellie & Connor's wedding in August! ✨

When we were full-time wedding photographers, we loved sharing photos online as quickly as possible… it was part of the experience we had crafted for our Caitlin & Luke Couples, and it was so fun to share sneak peeks right away for our couples’ friends and family to see immediately.

But for Kellie and Connor’s wedding, we wanted them to be the very first to share anything from their special day… that was really important to me!

So without further ado, here are a few of my favorite moments from one of the most meaningful weddings we’ve ever had the honor of documenting! Kellie and Connor’s wedding day was emotional, joyful, and SO much fun, and we are so grateful we got to be a part of it with them.

My favorite moments from this special day included all of the sweet first looks Kellie planned, the florals, the ceremony (which you know I cried through!), the copious amount of portrait time we had, and the reception speeches, which aren’t pictured due to said portraits that I couldn’t narrow down 😉 Kellie and Connor’s family and friends made this an incredibly special day for them, and Luke and wish them nothing but the absolute best in this new chapter. What an amazing story!

This shoot felt like the perfect one to resume sharing my work here on Insta 💛 Many of you have been following our past bride and dear friend Kellie Bullard’s journey since she tragically lost her husband and the daddy to her two kids back in 2021. She shares so beautifully, candidly and honestly about grief and life after loss, and knowing her makes me so proud.

Kellie has walked through the unthinkable with such grace and bravery, and she never fails to lean on her faith through it all. I’ll let you head to her page (or her incredible bestselling book!) to read more about her story, because it’s more than worth your time!

No one would have ever chosen or imagined the path life has taken her down, but it’s undeniable that God has an amazing plan for her and her two babies through it all. And tomorrow, Luke and I have the total honor of getting to photograph her and her fiancé Connor’s wedding day at the beautiful Haven on the Farm.

Words can’t describe the emotions I feel as I prepare for tomorrow, and we truly can’t wait to spend the day with these two and their loved ones as they celebrate their marriage!

Kellie and Connor, we are more than thrilled to come out of our wedding photography retirement for you two and are honored beyond words to be the ones capturing your wedding day tomorrow. Then:
• Full-time wedding photographer
• Desperately hoping to become a mama
• Working full-time with my husband
• Traveling all over the Midwest photographing dozens of weddings & sessions each year

Now:
• Retired from shooting weddings as of last summer (surprise!), & now specializing in photographing young families
• Mama to two precious boys
• A SAHM working while my kids nap and watching Luke absolutely kill it in his new career 🤎
• Shooting 99% of my sessions in BloNo to prioritize being present for my family

Hi, friends!! It’s been a minute! ☺️

My, how things have changed! And we are actually coming out of our wedding photography retirement in August to shoot a very special wedding for a couple who means a lot to us, so stay tuned for that 🤍

While things have changed a lot for Luke and I over the past few years, we are so grateful for every step of our journey. We honestly have never been as deeply happy as we are in this life stage!

Sydney & Blake ✨ Yesterday was absolute perfection! In the words of Sydney’s dad during his blessing before their reception dinner, these two are officially some of our “favorite humans” 🥰 This was an extra special wedding day for Luke and I for reasons we’ll share more about soon, and we’re so grateful we got to enjoy this day with THIS couple!!

Sydney and Blake, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing us to be your photographers. What an honor it was to be on this journey with you two throughout your almost 1000 day engagement and wedding planning journey!! 🤍 You guys are something special, and we know how long awaited this day was for you both. 7 YEARS 🤎 Time is absolutely crazy. I can’t believe we’re celebrating 7 years of marriage today! What an adventure it’s been. I couldn’t imagine life with anyone else by my side throughout everything we’ve been through, especially now that we are parents to our two sweet boys. I adore this life we’ve created and thank God every single day for all He’s blessed us with- none of it would be possible without Him.

Luke, you’re my best friend and the most selfless, hard working, driven, generous and devoted husband and father. I’m so thankful you chose me and that you continue to choose me every single day. You’ve made every one of my dreams come true, even those I thought were too big to hope for. Forever will never be long enough! Happy 7 years 🥰🎉

We’re celebrating today because Luke is officially the big 3-0! 🥰🎉 I am so thankful to have been able to spend almost all of his twenties with him, and I can’t wait to see what this next decade has in store for his life! Over the course of Luke’s twenties, we met, started dating, got engaged, got married, ran a business together full time, brought home our pup Oliver, bought and renovated our first home together, traveled, welcomed Grayson to our family & found out we were expecting another son (literally any day now!), unexpectedly learned to take care of a blind dog, built deeper relationships with each other, our family, our friends and God, and so much more. It’s been such a wild adventure so far, and I cannot wait for all that’s to come for us and our family!! ⁣

Luke is truly my best friend, is the absolute best husband to me and daddy for our boys, is an incredibly hard-working provider, and is the most selfless and driven person I know. I continually look at him and just think what a good man he is, and I genuinely hope our sons grow up to be just like him. Most of all, I hope they grow up to have the dedication to their faith that he does, because it’s something special. ⁣

Babe, I’ll always be your biggest fan, and I can’t imagine raising a family and living this life with anyone else! We adore you- happy 30th birthday!! 🤍⁣

A while back, my sister in law and I were joking about how fun it would be one day if we ended up being pregnant at the same time. Flash forward to this year, and we’re due with little boys just about two and a half weeks apart in April 😍💙 It’s been so special getting to see that dream come to life and be pregnant at the exact same time! ⁣

Both these boys are huge answers to prayers, and we all can’t wait to watch Theodore and Beau grow up together… they have some darling cousins (and a very excited Grayson!) waiting for them! It was a huge honor to get to do Marcus and Lizzie’s maternity session the other evening- getting to photograph family is something that always means so much to me.

I have *so* many sessions to catch up on sharing from the past few months, so let’s just start with yesterday’s 🥰 I had the most wonderful time getting to photograph the sweet Schopp family as they get ready to welcome another little one to their family this spring!! Haleigh and I are due just days apart, and this was such a special, full circle session for me to get to photograph. They braved the cold and wind with me yesterday, and I am obsessed with how these turned out! Only a few more sessions left before my maternity leave, and I’m enjoying each one to the fullest! 🤎

My goal is to be fully caught up on sharing allll my fall sessions by Christmas- so today, Kylie and Evan are up! 🥰 I’ve been photographing these two for years now, and they are getting ready to welcome their first baby in early 2023! We had the most gorgeous evening (with the most amazing sunset ever 😍✨) for their maternity session, and I can’t wait to watch these two start a new season of life as parents so soon. They’re going to be the best at it!! ⁣
