Taking a Step Back to Move Forward
As a business owner, sometimes you have to pause, zoom out, and ask: What’s truly best for the business, the team behind it, and the guests who keep it alive?
Over the past two years, we’ve evolved alongside you — introducing card payments, experimenting with a rotating menu, and adjusting portion sizes to find the right balance.
Now, for the first time, we’re making a decision that may not seem like the “best” on paper — but we wholeheartedly believe it is what’s best in the long run.
Here’s what’s happening:
• August: We’ll continue with our regular schedule.
• September: We’re taking a step back.
We’ll still be at a few select events already on the calendar, but overall, we’re pressing pause — for a few important reasons:
1. Menu Refinement – We want to evolve beyond what made us popular (yes, we know it’s the mac n cheese) and create options for those who are gluten-free, lactose-sensitive, or just curious to try something new from our kitchen.
2. Wider Reach – We’re working on ways to bring our food to more people and more places — without compromising what makes us special.
3. Mental Recharge – Running this business while working full-time jobs has been a grind. A short break will give us the breathing room we need to come back stronger, more creative, and even more committed to delivering the best possible experience.
We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support. This isn’t a step back — it’s a strategic reset.
