The venue brings you close to the show with its intimate setting and top level productions. The Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) is located in the City’s downtown and is a platform for performing arts and entertainment in the community. With a 1,200-seat auditorium and an 11,000 square foot ballroom, the recently-restored, historic 1920 theater welcomes more than 50 touring artist

s annually and is also home to many area performing arts ensembles. The center also features an outdoor summer concert stage and is in the process of developing a community arts education facility, the Creativity Center. Join us THIS Friday, August 7 on the BCPA Lawn as we team up with Bloomington-Normal Sunrise Rotary for a special Bags & Brews edition of First Friday Concerts, presented by Gibson Area Hospital!

• Doors Open: 4 PM
• Bags Tournament: 5 PM
• How Rude (90s Tribute Band): 7–10 PM

Grab a drink, including our Smells Like Gin Spirit special, enjoy live music, and bring your lawn chairs or blankets. We will have grilled pork chop sandwiches, hot dogs, a vegan option and ice cream cups available for purchase. Admission is $5 or FREE with a receipt from a Downtown Bloomington business. And kids get in FREE all summer thanks to School of Rock Bloomington!
