TODAY!!!! FREE CEREAL, MILK, AND BABYFOOD.

TODAY- Wednesday November 5th from 6:30-7:30, at C2C, any child can come and pick out a free box of cereal of their choosing. They will also receive a half gallon of milk. Any child, from anywhere, is welcome to this.

Babies will get free baby food.

The only eligibility requirements is that the child must be there in person to receive cereal and milk or baby food.

C2C is located at Second Time's the Charm, 600 US HWY 231 S in Bloomfield IN, in between Dollar General and Bloomfield Hardware. The giveaway is from 6:30 to 7:30.

With the uncertainty surrounding SNAP, government shutdown issues, and general food insecurity, we want to make sure kiddos get a little something special this week.

If you would like to donate cereal or baby food (not expired), bring them to Second Time's the Charm or Persimmon Tree during business hours ❤️🥰

FREE COATS TODAY at C2C (Second Time's the Charm in Bloomfield).

There are no eligibility requirements. Anyone from anywhere is welcome to come get a coat. We do not ask you any questions about your income. We don't ask any questions about your residency. The only requirement is that you be there in person to receive a coat (including children).

We cannot guarantee any size, color, or style. However we have worked diligently to collect and purchase coats of every size. We even have some hats and gloves!

Hello everyone - this is Jason Edwards (again) Board President for C2C ... as October arrives and a government shutdown is in process, we are preparing for our annual coat giveaway. The most up to date statistics we can find shows that 37 million, or 11% of all Americans are living in poverty and struggling to afford basic necessities.

Winter coats for a child is a necessity in Indiana and if your child is growing you may need to get more than one each year. Hats and gloves are handed out each year as well and the kids (and parents) are super grateful.

We have just under a month to finish purchasing for this project that we collect for all year. This year feels a little different, as we see the need rising like the price of everything. Plus our community's largest employer just shutdown and we don't know how long that will last (the last government shutdown in 2018 lasted 35 days driving hourly wage workers, employed by the government to food pantries to make up for the lost wages).

Saturday morning from 6:30am to 10 am the Lions Club will be serving the best priced breakfast in town (the state probably) - for just $5 you can get all you can eat 🥞pancakes & sausage, or biscuits &gravy. ☕🥛🧃Coffee, milk or Juice is included.

Join us at the South Shelter House (that is the one closest to the school) for an amazing breakfast that is cheap enough that you can treat everyone without breaking the bank.
