If you’re in business you will likely experience mean people. Heck even if you’re just working at a regular job that’ll happen.
I’m not even trying to have a pity party. But I realize that educating people about farming is so important.
Flowers are EXPENSIVE!!! When you order custom work it is expensive.
People need to wonder why are imported flowers so cheap?? Flowers that are flown overseas, driven miles and miles, are less expensive than locally grown ones? Make it make sense.
Anywho…
We filled an order for an arrangement, it was placed super last minute. We don’t have cookie cutter arrangements. You can’t go to our site and say I want the “XYZ” bc they are all different. Each picked to order.
Well this morning my day started off by being someone’s verbal punching bag. A grown man, expressing himself like a child.
Told me how disgusted he was with my flowers, how he could’ve gone to Walmart and chopped stems off and put them in a vase and they’d be better, that if this is how I do business then good luck staying in business, how embarrassed he was with the flowers, that they belonged in the garbage.
If you have an $80 flower budget but want an arrangement that’s worth $250… my friend I cannot help you.
I don’t determine your budget. And I won’t try to talk you into spending more when you tell me how much you want to spend.
And even if you’re upset, or not happy—BE NICE!
I’m human too.
