📢 Blanco Rodeo Association Announcement

After careful consideration, the Blanco Rodeo Association will not be participating as a group in this year’s Christmas Parade with horses.

While horses are being allowed in the parade, we want to prioritize the health and safety of our equine partners. I spoke with a friend currently attending the veterinary conference in Colorado, and veterinarians there are predicting another round of EHV within the next 30 days.

Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to stay vigilant and sit this one out for 2025.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and hope to join back in next year when things are safer for our horses. ❤️🐴🎄

The Blanco High School FFA Ag teacher, Kayla Taylor, is looking for old ropes so that the students in her floral design class can make these wreaths, if you have any that you’d like to donate please take them by the high school for drop off or reach out to Donna and Kyle Kramer. Thank you!!!!!
