Bring your pups, your lawn chairs, and your love of bluegrass — we’re turning the Meeks Dog Park into a toe-tappin’, tail-waggin’ celebration of our mountain heritage, the mountain music we love and our very special mountain community!

The Perfect Mountain Evening

If you imagine the perfect evening in the mountains, it probably includes time with family and friends, the sound of down-home mountain music and relaxing under the shade of tall beautiful trees.

That’s exactly what Pickin’ in the Dog Park was like last night— pure mountain magic. A huge thank you to our friends at Union County Recreation Department and our amazing local musicians for making the evening possible!

Due to the rain and more storms in the forecast this afternoon, we’ve decided to postpone Pickin’ in the Dog Park to next Tuesday, May 20 at 6 p.m. We just don’t want to take any chances with the weather and want everyone (pups included!) to stay safe and dry.

Please spread the word and mark your calendars for next Tuesday evening!

UPDATE: Pickin’ in the Dog Park POSTPONED

Due to the rain and more storms in the forecast this afternoon, we’ve decided to postpone Pickin’ in the Dog Park to next Tuesday, May 20 at 6 p.m. We just don’t want to take any chances with the weather and want everyone (pups included!) to stay safe and dry.

Important Update: Pickin’ in the Dog Park!

It looks like rain may be heading our way tomorrow! We’re keeping a close eye on the weather and will post an official update by noon tomorrow. If we have to postpone, our next available date for Pickin’ in the Dog Park will be Tuesday, May 20th.
