Thanks to all who helped out with and/or attended our Elks Salute to Our Veterans event! Twenty new and continuing WyoTech student veterans were presented with a $25 gift card for Blairsville Pharmacy and two lucky student veterans went home with a $250 gift card for Snap On Tools. "As long as there are veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them."

We are back with another Elks theme night! Our Lodge Members are welcome to join us for a Hawaiian Luau on the evening of Saturday June 20th from 6-10pm. Our featured drink of the night will be a Tequila Sunrise!

We applied for and received another $2,000 Gratitude Grant to help improve and expand the community garden this year.

Work on the planned improvements has not started yet, but we will have an Elks Planting Day this Saturday, June 6 at 9 AM.

If you can, stop by the garden and help us plant our tomato and pepper plants! Plants are being donated by Cokeville Produce (thank you Dan and Kim!). We will donate our vegetables to Hebron Lutheran Church food pantry later in the season.

Blairsville Elks Salute to Our Veterans event will be held on Saturday, June 14 immediately following our Flag Day Service. The event, which includes a picnic-style dinner and a live band, is being held to honor and support local and relocated WyoTech student veterans. Dinner: 7 PM. Band (7 Mile Run): 8 - 11 PM. Cost to attend is only $5.00. Free for veterans!

Blairsville Elks help re-establish community garden in Blairsville, PA!
The Lodge successfully applied for a Gratitude Grant and is partnering with the Borough and the BCDA to help increase access to fresh, healthy food fin our community.
