Finally getting our first few blooms of the summer ❤️ The recent rain has sure helped, and the beds are coming alive! So excited for the season to come, starting with our CSA flower subscriptions in a couple weeks and u-pick field in a month or so. It's my favorite time of the year!

I'm excited to be a part of the Lauritzen Gardens Guild's Spring Luncheon next Thursday, May 7th. I'll have some fresh flowers and beautiful dried flower wreaths and crafts available for sale during the event. Tickets are available at the link below.

It's happening! Seedlings are slowly but surely going in the ground, and our spring flowers are LOVING all the rain. One thing's for sure: there aren't enough hours in the day!

There is so much happening on the farm! We've prepped and seeded our pollinator habitat (new this year!) which will be great for the bees and butterflies, and also fun for a photo op. Our first daffodil of the season has bloomed, and we have about 1200 seedlings ready to put in the ground on Monday. Our tulips are popping up, and so are our peonies! It's hard to keep up on it all, but we're doing our best 😁 Yay, spring!

Reservations are now OPEN for the Lauritzen Gardens Guild’s Inspiring Spring Luncheon! Come celebrate the season with us on Thursday, May 7 as award-winning topiary artist Michael P. Gibson also known as “Gibby-Siz,” will share his creative process on how to transform landscapes into living works of art. Plus, don’t miss out on fresh florals from Ferne Valley Farm's pop-up shop.

Tickets are $125 per person or $1,000 for a table of 8. All proceeds from this event support educational programs at our public garden.

Happy Spring!
It has begun! I've got a few thousand seeds started in the basement and we're aiming to start putting them in the ground in just a couple weeks. It feels so good to be growing things again. 😊🌱🌱
