Just people showing up as they are and letting everything else settle around them.

When couples let go of the pressure to “perform” for the camera, what’s left is honesty. And honesty always photographs better than perfection ever could.

But these two are pretty perfect if you ask me🖤

There’s just something really special about watching two people step into marriage with God at the center of it all.

This past Saturday was one of those days that felt good from start to finish. Warm sun, happy tears, so much joy… but more than anything, you could feel how deeply these two love each other.

The kind of love rooted in Christ. The kind that makes you believe they’ll keep choosing each other through every season ahead, the beautiful ones & the hard ones.

What a gift it is to document not just a wedding day, but the beginning of a marriage built on faith🖤

While these lovers are on their mini moon, I felt it was time to officially introduce the NEWLYWEDS 🖤

These two have become so very special to me over the past two years. From the initial inquiry, to the very first FaceTime call, the engagement session where I met my very best fur buddy of all time, the texts, IG messages, and of course the wedding day… I’m already having severe Mary and Nolan withdrawals.

I wish I could bottle up the moments leading up to their day so I could reopen them whenever I wanted and savor the incredible time together and friendship we built. But since that’s just not possible, I guess I’ll have to settle for coffee catch ups, trips to Roch for dinner, and of course crashing Bango’s next birthday party!!!

I adore these two so very much, and I cannot wait to share more from this day and relive it over and over again.

There’s something really beautiful about finding your person, your forever best friend.

The one you can laugh until you cry with, be completely ridiculous with, have the absolute most fun with, hold onto in the hard moments and still choose at the end of every single day!

I have had the most amazing maternity sessions the past two months. So many first time mothers & seasoned mothers all stepping into the next chapter of their lives.

I’m especially excited for these two to welcome their little one into this world. There’s such a deep adoration between them that you can feel immediately, the kind that makes you just know this baby is already so deeply loved. 🖤

Yesterday we did our annual Mother’s Day photos and my heart truly could not have felt more full.

These four are the absolute best parts of me. The greatest pieces of my heart walking around outside of my body. It’s not only a complete blessing getting to watch them grow every single day, but getting to walk beside them through every version of who they become.

Motherhood shifts so quickly. One moment you’re rocking your tiny little babies to sleep and memorizing every inch of them. Then suddenly you’re chasing toddlers, packing lunches, wiping tears, teaching them to drive… and somehow, before you even feel ready, you’re sitting across from them listening to stories about their jobs, friendships, relationships, dreams, heartbreak, & adult lives.

It is the most beautiful, bittersweet journey. To love people this deeply while watching time move this fast. And I am endlessly grateful that I get to live it with these four. I will never stop thanking God for trusting me to be their Mom. Being theirs has been one of the greatest gifts and callings of my life.

I hope every Mother out there had a beautiful day yesterday. No matter what season of motherhood you’re in; newborn days, teenage years, grown babies, grief, waiting, or somewhere in between, I hope you felt seen, loved, and celebrated🖤
