Exactly 18 hours from the initial call, we completed our mission on time and the Ferris wheel was completed by 9:00 am as promised.
Not a wink of sleep for us we drove all night and began assembling as soon as we stepped out of the trucks.

Big Round Wheel was founded by Darren Janesky, his wife Jessica, and their three kids. What began as Darren’s mission to create backyard joy for his family turned into a nationwide sensation after he restored a classic 1969 Ferris wheel 🎡

Today, they bring full-sized amusement rides like Ferris wheels, bumper cars, and rollercoasters to events across the country, personally handled every step of the way by the Janesky family.

The Ferris Wheel was invented & designed by George W.G. Ferris, for the Chicago worlds Fair.
Ferris graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1881 with a degree in civil engineering.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is celebrating their 200th year with a celebration that showcases our Ferris Wheel in Troy, NY, which is just outside Albany, NY
The celebration will not only commemorate 200 years in existence but pay tribute to one of their Graduates, the inventor of the Ferris Wheel who may have never imagined that one of his inventions would end up being assembled at the Institute where he received his education.
